Finally feeling better after being sick for a week – so I took my Romanian friend WASR out tonight.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

That’s a lot better than your ice extent summer minima estimate Steven :p
Worse than mine of course 😉
Andy
whatever can be done with PhotoShop, uh B-)
Do your Romanian friend have a kid? – I spot a small footprint at 10 o’clock
I got a lot of friends, but my best and the only one I would thrust with my life is my American mini14
I’ve got one of those too, but .223 rounds are a lot more expensive than 7.62X39.
Semi-auto on a budget, Fredrik Axelsson, owner of the Fx factory test shooting his own invension, “wasted” air is used to recycle the action – had to have one of the very first, cost me about 2000US$ + 100US$ for the Swedish export permit

Funny thing about Ruger, they wouldn’t sell me 30 round mags, only 20 rounds, so yes! me have no bananas..
Bless you.
Steven: How can you claim to understand climatology, when you don’t even practice “Texas Marksmanship”?
Its much more difficult to paint circles around the bullet holes.
My wife and I were nailed with a stomach bug a few days ago…partially recovered after about a day, but still not hungry.
I guess CAGCD has Fort Collins suffering from diseases…

Too bad you can’t introduce some ecotards to your “Friend”.
sharp shooting steven. puts paid to the myth that ak actions are not accurate.
i have two saiga’s myself, and i prefer the 7.62×39 over the .223 anyways. unless you are on an open prairie it is a superior cartridge. even then, most people cannot shoot well enough to take advantage of the .223’s better ballistics. that said, if your life depends on your friend, something like a .308 might be a better ticket.
i second the ruger fans, i also have an ASI mini 30. erik, you should have no problem finding 30 round magazines for a mini.
I’ve got a couple of 40 round mags for my Mini-14. I picked them up at a local shop – “Rocky Mountain Shooters Supply”
Unfortunately I can’t drive them (even empty) through Denver, which has a 20 round limit.
I think I am going to take my Mini14 over to the range this morning.
one trick we use here in the PRK is dismantling magazines for transport or shipping.
have fun out there!
