HAHAHAHAHA,…. From the leaked memo…
“…we should refrain from asserting that the planet has warmed (or cooled) in any given period without IMMEDIATELY pointing out that such theories are based upon data that critics have called into question. It is not our place as journalists to assert such notions as facts, especially as this debate intensifies.”
Wow, journalists acting as journalists instead of activists. What a scandal!
Yes, entirely unacceptable. If I were Fox, I’d headline this for a week. Anyone care to guess why Fox is kicking the pants off of all other news orgs?
“It is not our place as journalists to assert such notions as facts, especially as this debate intensifies.”
LOL yeah, but the observer thinks it’s a slam.
The observer doesn’t realize, that’s the best advertising for Fox.
Every time I turn on MSNBC, they are talking about Fox, and
they wonder why their ratings have tanked, and Fox’s ratings are
off the chart.
Yeh, I keep going back and forth in my mind. Sometimes I think they are simply evil people, then, other times, such as now, I think, maybe they really are that dumb.
WOW! What an IDEA! Have a scientific DEBATE or a debate of any type. Unheard of in the progressive fantasy world where government knows best based on academic fairy tales that have little basis in reality.
Well Actually I should not make that claim because there are those in the academic world that believe an X-Box on steroids is better than reality. Maybe for them Game Boys are reality.
Good heavens, that evil, evil Fox news! We’d better get someone to investigate them, perhaps the ‘Columbo of climate change’ himself, since this involves a ‘leaked’ memo.
That fellow sounds like he is right up there with Brother Al for an honest delivery of the truth based on empirical evidence.
That description fits if you are under the influence of a controlled substance that has a side effect of distorting reality.
“comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.” Note that liberal misinformation is OK.
They are funded by all the usual suspects –
“According to the New York Times, Media Matters initially received “more than $2 million in donations from wealthy liberals” with ties to the Democratic party (including Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, Marcy Carsey, Susie Tompkins Buell, Leo Hindrey, Gail Furman, and James Hormel).[16][17][18] Byron York said Media Matters received an unspecified amount of funding from MoveOn.org, and the New Democrat Network.”
“In October 2010 Alliance founding member George Soros announced his first donation to Media Matters, to donate $1 million to Media Matters.”
Move on .Org is of course another Soros funded outfit.
Sorry guys. Fox News makes the other guys look sane….
They are all about agendas so, WTF, no surprises there. Either way, polarizing the issues no matter what lines are drawn is counter-productive. An open mind is one that allows the swill to pass and the pearls to stay.
It is easy enough to refute RabidRomm and his cohorts. They have the assets but we have the facts so…it is just a matter of time and making sure that they don’t get control outright.
Sane? Compared to leg tingling? You betcha! Nervous breakdowns under their desks? Sane? You betcha!
An editor stating what every journalist in the world should practice? Let’s try this again……..he states, “It is not our place as journalists to assert such notions as facts, especially as this debate intensifies.”
I don’t care what side of the fence someone is riding, the thought expressed here should be applauded and encouraged by all. BTW, appearing sane and being sane are two entirely different things.

Talk about misleading headlines…..
Fox didn’t say to keep it a debate, Fox just said to be honest about their reporting…..
Fox News will never get anywhere with that attitude!
They need to take lessons from

Media Matters, that’s George Soros.
What’s next — Media matters telling us AGW isn’t political?
BTW – Anyone out there that may be interested, I’ll watch Fox News and make up this kind of crap for only a half a million/year. Call me George.
