We are coming up on the 403rd anniversary of the Bristol Channel Flood.
On 30 January 1607 the Bristol Channel floods resulted in the drowning of an estimated 2,000 or more people, with houses and villages swept away, an estimated 200 square miles (518 km2) of farmland inundated and livestock destroyed,[1] wrecking the local economy along the coasts of the Bristol Channel and Severn Estuary, in what was then the Kingdom of England.
The devastation was particularly severe on the Welsh side, extending from Laugharne in Carmarthenshire to above Chepstow in Monmouthshire. Cardiff was the most badly affected town.[2] The coasts of Devon and the Somerset Levels as far inland as Glastonbury Tor, 14 miles (23 km) from the coast, were also affected. The sea wall at Burnham-on-Sea gave way,[3] and the water flowed over the low lying levels and moors. Thirty villages in Somerset were affected, including Brean which was “swallowed up” and where seven out the nine houses were destroyed with 26 of the inhabitants dying. For ten days the Church of All Saints at Kingston Seymour, near Weston-super-Mare, was filled with water to a depth of 5 feet (1.5 m). A chiselled mark remains showing that the maximum height of the water was 8 metres above sea level.[4]

Now that we are all faced with the imminent danger of invisible, harmless, trace gas CO2 – we all long for the good old days where all we had to deal with was Smallpox, Plague, Tuberculosis, 50% infant mortality and an average life expectancy of 30 years.
Greens hope to bring us back to that paradise.

What about the 1228 Sea Flood in the Netherlands, it killed 100,000 people which sounds like a lot considering today it only has 20million people and that was 1228!!!

The Panic of 1524
In 1499 the astrologer Johann Stöffler predicted that catastrophe would rain down on Europe in February 1524. As 1524 approached, mass hysteria engulfed Europe. Anticipating that the catastrophe would take the form of a flood, many people built boats or moved to higher ground. But by this time, a few people were growing more cynical of such predictions. The philosopher Niccolo Machiavelli responded to the warning by sardonically urging the women of Florence to run away to the hills and live with the hermits. Once again the catastrophe did not arrive.

Reason for increase of US troop deaths in Afghanistan: Obama policy of social engagement, “rapport”, by troops, called COIN (i.e., counterinsurgency doctrine):
“You guys don’t like building rapport? Chill. Have a conversation. Hang out with them.”……. “You’re going to drink lots of tea. You’re going to eat lots of goat. Get to know the people. That’s the reason why we’re here.”
After customary tea was served by an Afghan border police…… one of the Afghan policemen opened fire, killing all six U.S. troops.

Time for Eugenics to make a come back, was wondering where they were they’ve been a bit slow this time round, it’s usually at the end of the BS cycle
Technique same as last time, last time they used Charles Darwin’s son. Now they have David Attenborough. Use a sort of respected popular scientist to make the cause more believable. I mean USA/UK started the Nazi Eugenics type of things, with mass sterilizations and other things in the 1900s-1940s. The German Nazis just took it to another level
Scarlet P:
No They have just been not as well reported yet. Holdren is and has been part of the new Eugenics movement along with the Erlichs. Some see a link between the new Eugenics movements and the start of the Global Warming alarmist camp. It is said to be the leading force of the environmental movement. The Rio Summit was claimed to be the start and the major players were members of the modern day Eugenics movement just using different names for their organizations because of the negative publicity attached to the name Eugenics.
Must have been all those horses they used causing too many methane emissions..
