Millions of accidents occur every year because of drivers preoccupied with their phones. Several children on bicycles were killed here in Fort Collins during the last two years by drivers on the phone.

Is why I never talk on the phone while drinking and driving. I’ve nothing to do with my lit cigarette!
What about eating while driving? What about shaving or putting on makeup when driving? There is plenty of that going on as well.
I almost got hit by a driver on the phone this afternoon. It is a huge problem.

I ride with great care whenever I see a pedestrian with that eyes-down-hunched-shoulders look.
Talking on a cell phone or texting while driving is banned in Australia.
If you kill someone with your car while doing either you can be charged with manslaughter and face serious jail time.
It should be that way everywhere. I hate the dull mindless look of a driver on the phone.
Me too, I’ve often wondered if the invention of a cell phone was a positive movement for mankind. I lean towards, no, it wasn’t.
