Did it ever occur to any of these people that if you build in a FLOOD Plain it will Flood?
Not only were they flooded in 2010, they were flooded in 1950, 1956, 1957, 1973.. all well before any AGW scare.
In terms of loss of life, 1950 was worse. Given that there was far fewer population back then, relatively speaking it was much worse.
But then alarmists have a penchant for ignoring history.
Making some miniscule reduction in the anthropogenic CO2 emissions (miniscule in terms of total CO2) from the USA only can have a global impact?
I just read an article by Donna Laframboise where she stated:
