In the past 50 years, the western Antarctic Peninsula has experienced the biggest temperature increase on earth, rising by 17.27 degrees Celsius per decade.

lol….funny stuff…..gonna go down to antarctic and get me some fried penguin!!!!
If it wasn’t so funny it could make you cry that people cannot apply some critical thinking skills. I mean, based on temperature rise rate of change observed this morning, it will be 400 degrees by 3:00 pm. See how easy that is.
On another note, and because of everything going on with regards to the Antarctic as demonstrated by Steig vs. ODonnell, can anyone tell me how you can look at a map and come up with a legitimate scientific reason that warming of the West Antarctic Pennisula can be explained by CO2? What kind of model/program can cook that scenario up? Is there any room for common sense, or finding the most likely explanation?
The slobber these people put out is unbelievable! They can’t be serious.
