I’m originally from Pitt County, NC. This is simply a reminder of why I left.
The religious fanatics or the severe weather?
It was the potential natural severe weather that kept me west of the Blue Ridge!
I was in Wake Forest when Fran stopped by for a visit and I had the opportunity to observe the after math and the experience of riding out a Cane!
I chased Fran to Wilmington, where the roof of the Days Inn we were staying at entirely blew off. That was the end of my hurricane chasing days!
