1890s Heat In California

The hottest summer (by far) in California was 1896. Three of the nine hottest years occurred during that decade, and a fourth in 1901.

    Anything after 1950m is well corrupted by “UHI” and can be linked to technological advances rather than weather conditions. You would need to throw out 2 degrees for known errors in processing.
