Don’t any of you believe in quantification? What the hell is “unheard of” suppose to mean in the first place? Since the most elemental data is not given there can be absolutely no comparison between then and now.
Perhaps you need a newspaper article, dated this year, to make a ‘scientific’ comparison between past and present “hither-to unheard of high temperatures”? No data required.
I’m sure that hunters, fishermen and those who have been living there all their lives, can give you a different picture nowadays.
