Last December was the coldest on record in Ireland, as has been this summer. This proves conclusively that the earth is headed into an ice age.
December 24, 2010
This has been the coldest start to winter for the last 130 years, when records began. According to Met Eireann, Ireland’s meteorological service, December has officially been the coldest month ever on record.
Last Monday County Mayo recorded low temperatures of -17.2C (1F).
But they don’t suffer from global warming in Ireland – Saint Patrick banned it, along with the snakes. Anyway, 130 years is just weather, whereas one day at 105° in Austin is climate.
Totally off-topic (I don’t know if it’s true or not), but from The Grauniad (sometimes known as The Guardian) some years ago in, the days of movable type –
“We apologize for the error in last week’s paper in which we stated that Mr. Arnold Dogbody was a defective in the police force. We meant, of course, that Mr. Dogbody is a defective in the police farce”
FUNNY accurate reporting! My wife is calling emergency services due to your post! 😉
Always glad to brighten someone’s day……
