A couple of days ago we were told that global warming was determined by the temperature in the eastern half of the US. Using the new found wisdom which has been imparted on us, we can safely state that global warming has officially ended.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

If I had not sacraficed that virgin to Gaia, we would still be in it! The reason it took so long, was because of the trouble of finding a virgin in DC.
Yeah, but look at all that CO2 pollution in the west!
no…they will now move to the nth west and start the blather about that area..
Today in history:
“In 1992, Democrat Bill Clinton tapped Tennessee Sen. Al Gore to be his running mate.”
It’s a 20 year anniversary Gore Effect echo over DC.

Good catch!
Interesting article on America Before Air Conditioning. It started out talking about the heat in the 1920s when in NY city “as night fell, whole families lay on [beds on] those iron balconies in their underwear.” But it goes on “Later on, in the Depression thirties, the summers seemed even hotter…”

The 60s in the summer were not much better (down south). No AC, and only one box fan between 2 bedrooms. I was the oldest male, so I got the TOP bunk.
Yea, those were the days! How I miss them (NOT).
They had rolling black-outs in Alberta today due to power demand as GW has finally arrived here.
I’m sure it took a while to hook up all the Donkeys to the get the wind mills rolling to cover the short fall in power we needed…since when it hot here, no wind….
