It is 1pm on July 27, the sun is shining, and the temperature here in Fort Collins is 69F. Could it be that the missing heat has finally reared its ugly head?
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Wow! How did it get from the deep ocean to Fort Collins?!
Maybe it’s hiding in a worm hole – so it can suddenly appear anywhere!
The missing heat has escaped to outer space.
I found it! I found it!

Oh crap! I thought they were looking for ‘hissing meat’, nevermind.
64 deg here in Cheyenne @ 3:01 PM.
Damn cold here in Chicago. http://blog.chicagoweathercenter.com/2013/07/27/this-weekends-unseasonable-chill-more-typical-of-early-may-than-late-july-its-to-be-chicagos-coolest-july-weekend-in-29-years-2/ Today’s temp hasn’t gone above 62 deg – 7 deg lower than the previous record low high for this date.
My house never got above 74 F today. That’s with a few hours of the intense 5000-ft sun and right after we cooked dinner (the thermostat is right outside the kitchen). Weather.com had today’s high at 71 F.
I’m guessing that days as cool as today in the absence of rain are far rarer in July than 100+ F days, but I don’t see today’s weather making headlines. This is the kind of high I’d expect from a day where it rained constantly all day. Instead, just a few sprinkles.

Oh, and of course, no AC either. I figured that was clear, but wanted to explicitly state it after rereading my post.
