Lousy Schools, Loud Drunks, And Green Energy

I don’t know if I would lump all green energy into that category. My friends solar panels in Arizona end up paying him back each month rather than him paying for electricity. Of course it’s a matter of upfront costs vs over time costs.
UPVC windows? Strong, quiet and well-insulated, fire-resistant, durable, recyclable, no painting — what’s not to like? Not getting that one unless, being plastic, they just aren’t “green” enough for the smug homebuyer. As for 4, 9 & 10, no surprises there.
They put up some windmills on Mars Hill, Maine, and houses nearby lost nearly all their value. People abandoned their houses due to unbearable noise of the windmills.
With chicks like those in the pub (pic number 5), who cares about the noise?
After the initial expense I can not think of a negative about geothermal heating (and cooling).
It is just that it will only go a short ways in certain areas.
Europe, particularly Green Germany, is going back to coal and shutting down “clean” gas fired power plants. LOL. What happened to CO2 causing CAGW? Climate Change is a joke.
