(New South Wales experienced one of the most extraordinary and damaging gales ever known in the state on Sunday. At 2 p.m. the velocity was 63 miles an hour which is only one mile less than tho record for Australia. It was reported that over 40 houses were completely’ destroyed at Woy Woy.
Patagona, a popular seaside resort; was a mass of roaring flames. Late on Sunday night at least 100 homes had been des- troyed with^nost of their contents. There was a fierce outbreak of fire at Middle Head where several houses were burned down. A pall of black smoke covered the harbour and all picnickers were driven off the beaches which were infested with millions of insects and spiders driven out of the woods by the flames.

I agree with Bill! Everyone that believes in AGW / CACC / Climate Weirding and any other name they want to use to reduce CO2 footprints to zero should have their CO2 footprint immediately reduced to Zero. They should not be allowed to use any device that emits CO2! They should not be allowed to consume any consumable that emits CO2 in production or transport of that consumable. Any energy source they utilize can not be the end result of any carbon based production or allow CO2 to be released during production, transportation or use of the energy producing device. They should be allowed to inhale Oxygen but not allowed to exhale CO2 or emit Methane as it is a greater GHG than even CO2.

What a dimwit McKibben is. Take CATO’s carbon calculator, which allows you to plug in data such as the climate sensitivity and the degree of CO2 cuts, and see the supposed temperature savings. We’ll set the climate sensitivity to 3°C as that seems to be what a lot of warmists are gravitating toward, even though there is no evidence that climate sensitivity exists in any amount greater than zero.
Set the “Region” to all industrialized nations, and the amount of CO2 cutback to 100%. And guess what, the calculator is not working for me. But, anyway, it’s very little change in temperature, like 0.1°C “savings” by 2050, and 0.3° Cby 2100 for a 100% cutback!
So, we can cut back 100% on C02, and even when you accept the dubious agw theory in full, there’s just a meager change in temperature. That in exchange for the complete destruction of civilization. I really think McKibbean just dreams of the leftist stoneage utopia. But what’s with all the jetsetting?

If we force the Climate alarmists to comply with Zero Emissions standards, like the want the entire world to live with, we would not have to listen to them any longer. A zero emission scenario means they would be isolated from the rest of humanity 100%. 😉 Other wise it is not a zero emissions life style.

There is a certain attractiveness to living like our ancestors did in days of yore. Conservatives like us who don’t mind carrying firearms (or baseball bats) can take whatever we want whenever we want from the pussilanimouses like McKibben including their women folk.
