Most of Oklahoma was over 110F on July 19, 1936 and Altus reached 120F. Tomorrow’s forecast for Altus is 25 degrees cooler than the same date in 1936.

Twenty-seven Kansas HCN stations reported on July 18, 1936. Three were over 110F. Seventeen were over 105F, and all were over 101F. The two hottest stations were at Coldwater and Sedan.
