In 1940, Arctic sea ice was two metres thick – which is about the same as now.
23 Feb 1940 – THE NORTH POLE. Is it Getting Warmer. | BUNDABER…
Remember : You don’t have to believe any of the expert’s BS. Because they don’t know what they are talking about.
Ice Will only get thicker each year with Grand Minimum starting with the sun.
Yes, I think we could have above average summer ice extent already next year or 2015. I believe that if solar radiation remains low, the Arctic winds will be more favorable to ice accumulation and a fast recovery of the icecap.
I recall how quickly the Arctic sea ice extent rose at the beginning of the satellite record during the 70’s.
Do you have any more precise information that could help us here?
Steve usually shows that report from CIA and the IPCC graph that shows 1974 anomalies close to the present one (~ minus 1 million km2), but I can find nothing more anywhere. The temperature anomalies (base period 1961-1990) at the N. Pole were above zero at the beginning of the 1970’s, but not very much

Then, the temperatures themselves could not be the main cause, but abnormal winds, as happened recently, could do the trick.
Thanks.
Even here at this Chukchi mooring site, thicknesses haven’t changed between 2004 and 2010. Even after the 2007 blowout.

Reblogged this on Health Science Watch.
Young Collage kids already brainwashed by teachers getting to take free ice breaking cruse, http://www.dannyblas.com/
The mission statement has been changed on the blog site to .
Hey readers. I just landed on the ship on which I’ll be part of the science team, collecting sediment samples in the Arctic Ocean.
I’ll be onboard the USCG Healy, which is an icebreaker ship, operated by the United State Coast Guard.
The mission will take three-and-a-half weeks, and I’ll be absent the first week of school.
The original mission statement stated they were taking sediment core samples to determine something about the little ice ages. That statement seems to be gone from the blog now.
State Farm Ins needs to make commercial with everything you see on TV is not real like the internet commercial.
My bad he still has why here.
Purpose of Expedition
The reason we are here in the Arctic is to investigate the origins of a cooling period on earth, which began about 13,000 years ago.
The cooling period, known by scientists as the Younger Drays stadial, has been associated with sea ice in the Arctic and North Atlantic Oceans, and the storage and release of fresh water from a large glacial lake in North America, yet its origin remains controversial.

“You don’t have to believe any of the expert’s BS. Because they don’t know what they are talking about”
people are in fact starting to learn this because they’re taught by the experts themselves, it’s the only true lesson they gave.
Arctic Sea Ice, Rabbit this year in a hat, who would of thought?

Yes indeed. Who would have thought that the ice would recover from a record-breaking minimum in 2012? Well, actually almost everyone expected a rebound.
Please don’t quote JoeB. He may understand weather but his knowledge of climate is limited.
No climate scientist predicted a large increase in ice over 2012
what about land ice. [ old ice ] that continues to melt regardless of fluctuating sea ice. global ice loss is three times higher than global ice gain. it is warming people
LOL! Did you research anything before you posted this?
I see. So you think that an ice cube can only melt if the temperature is getting warmer.
That would mean that ice can’t melt after 6pm.
