The alarming loss of sea ice which has grown worse each summer over the past several decades, has taken a sharp turn for the worse: this year the loss is right in the middle, the most resilient part of the ice cover. This could lead to a completely ice-free Arctic Ocean by September.

What I am watching is how much snow is already on the ground in Russia. Way more than any year I could find the other day using this satellite.
I love how the alarmtards compare the ice to 1979. Why do they pick 1979 during the 1970’s global cooling era? That is some serious cherry picking. I say, use the 1930’s.
2013 was lower than every year in the 1930s if the dmi is anything to go by.
It s simple arithmetic. If half the ice disappeared last summer and again this summer half the ice disappeared that means that all the ice disappeared. I’ll take cash for this but I will need funding up front before I can do more research.

The fact remains, the Arctic is warming twice as fast as the rest of the globe. If you choose to obsess on short term weather of the Arctic, you deceive yourself and others.
So basically, just ignore the fact that arctic temperatures have been rising steadily for decades; and instead look at one measure from one small section of the arctic during the summer exclusivly. FYI dmi temps generally show a rising trend.

Arctic temperature is cyclical. Greenland was warmer in 1940 than it is now
Well, Greenland as a whole is warming along with the rest of the arctic. Obviously you are still going to get natural variation so it isn’t surprising that any single decade is warmer than the current one.
Greenland alternately warms and cools. At the current time it is cooling. You have no idea what you are talking about.
