Seth Borenstein, who originally warned us about the 2012 ice-free Arctic, says that temperatures are going to go off scale around noon on July 23, 2047.
This is disturbing, because Hansen had previously given us until 2060 before the charts went off-scale.
The red dot above shows the most recent GISS tampered, upwards adjusted data. Temperatures are below Hansen’s zero emissions Scenario C.
There is no basis for alarm, and no basis for claiming that temperatures are going “off scale.” These people are complete frauds. The models have failed miserably and are not an excuse for acceptable science.
How can we peons possibly argue with these wise experts? If 97% of experts with their highly sophisticated computer models say no warming portends catastrophic warming, it means catastrophic warming, even though it makes abolutely no sense.
It depends upon what “catastrophic” means. We are in a catastrophic “pause” now, you know. (Trenberth called it a “travesty”, remember that plum?)

Models models models, past one week 97% are all a failure.
Climate and weather models are fed the information and data by who? Hmmm
1. That could be your fault. I wonder what they say about you.
2. Some years ago I met quite a few weathered models in Santa Monica but I never asked who is feeding them. It’s an interesting question but I didn’t think they would like it.
This has to be very good and we should be really worried. After all, they decided that the normal climate was that between 1860 and 2005 and their data are model output, not messy measurements. It’s nice to know that the folks who can’t predict this year’s hurricanes 5 months in advance can predict the weather 33 years from now. It’s enough to drive me to drink with worry. Single malt, I suppose, because when the world ends and temperatures go off the charts we probably won’t have ice and one doesn’t drink single malt on the rocks.
I can make a chart that shows the temperature here going off the chart by noon.
Chicken Littles Gone Wild
They always adjust recent temperatures upwards, and old temps down. Why do they never adjust the other way? Maybe they have an explanation, and certainly most of the time there’s no explanation at all, it’s just done in the dark of night, and no one was supposed to notice, but thanks to people like Steven, they’re are called out on it. But not by the msm.
Take the warmists’ previous predictions made in the ’80s and ’90s, and their laughable models, and we see that the predictions are just completely off the mark. Completely. And we’re supposed to take these Halloween style future predictions seriously? The predictions are flat out ridiculous. Look at the past predictions and we see the current Chicken Littles are obviously crying wolf. But when is the MSM going to start putting these fear mongers in their place?
And they are making these predictions right in the middle of a flatline in temperatures that has been going on for nearly two decades. A joke. It’s like the doomsayers are robots on auto-pilot that are fully oblivious to what’s going on in reality, like they got some of the Energizer Bunny in them and they are just going to keep repeating the same tiresome hogwash over and over again, even when their Halloweenish predictions are sounding outright goofy.
Just wait until 11am in July in 2047 and he’ll have the last laugh.
July 23 2047.. An arbitrary date chosen to extend the scare until then? Hopefully the money runs out sooner.
