Obama made a speech yesterday about Obamacare.
In the past, there would have been a press conference, and the president would have been eaten alive by angry reporters. But Democracy has departed the US and now we get a speech from a dictator and softball complaints from press pretending to do their job.

Democracy is highly over-rated.
Democracy is what has given us an entitlement mentality, a mountain of public debt, and all the crooked politicians.
Journalists are allergic to jail time.
With the NSA monitoring all their peccadillos, it’s no wonder journalists and the media owners are intimidated by the DC brigade. There will be a dirt file on each one of them.
This is why we need new politicians (actual representatives), along with new media (actual reporting). Until our voices are heard without distortion, WE THE PEOPLE (not an error in font, BTW), WE are servants to a power hungry class system. Out with the mold, in with the few.
