Shock News : Country Which Re-Elected Obama Has Many Of The Stupidest People On Earth

The U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) on Friday released the initial results of an international survey of adult skills in literacy and mathematics, revealing that Americans rank 21st in “numeracy” and are tied for 15th in literacy among adults in 23 advanced economies.

American adults also scored below the average in both numeracy and literacy for all respondents in all 23 advanced economies.

I am not going to call them names but you forgot to add many have been fooled and tricked.

  2. Fred from Canuckistan says:

Any truth to the story going around that the ObamaCare Website was coded by a bunch of U Penn profs led by Mikey Mann moonlighting as web developers? Could be true. They have hoovered as much money as possible on the AGW Con Job thingy so switching to the next Government Shovelling Money off The Truck scam would be right up their alley.

Seems the website would be what you expect from the Team that invented the Hockey Stick and still believe in global warming fairy tales.

U Penn IS NOT PENN STATE!
University of Pennsylvania is the one founded by Ben Franklin and currently is immersed in a Black sewer (served by Congress Critter Chaka Fattah), inhabited by Smart Liberals (no conservatives allowed it is said), known mainly for its Medical School and Business School (Wharton), and the Digital Computer revolution began there after World War 2.
Penn State, OTOH, is known for FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL and FOOTBALL–did I mention FOOTBALL.

p.s. Left Pennsylvania as soon as I was able. My bright friends went to Penn or Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon) while my DS friends went to Penn State or Pitt.

That certainly explains the people calling 911 when their chicken mcnuggets are cold.

  4. Jeffk says:

Whenever we see these comparisons with small Euro or Asian nations, it’s apples and oranges. We should compare ourselves with all of Europe together and all the Asian countries. Because America is really 50 separate state education systems.

    • Don says:

Much less so than before the Dept. of Education. Now they’ve got a crazy standard that most states are going to follow, with ‘white privilege’ guilt tripping as a top priority. That’s education in America with Bush’s No Child Left Behind as well (but what about their right behind I wonder).

    • Old Pete says:

Actually, it would be more apt to compare Americans of Asian ancestry with Asian nations, Americans of European ancestry with European nations, etc. The reason the U.S. performance often lags is that certain under-performing demographic groups bring down the national average.

  5. Ed says:

Thanks, Hank Johnson. That would explain the sea level rise (if there is any) in southern England. We’ve been told it’s isostasy, but apparently it’s more likely to be fat southerners, or too many of them, or both.
    …Embarrassing.

  6. Not so LOL in Oregon says:

    Wow!
It has been a while since I’ve seen something swept under the rug like this!
Apparently released on the 8th but very limited hits.
Try using the “Evil empire of the south” (starts with goo) and it is a devil to get many hits!
The ones that appear seem to have very few comments, all blaming the minority political party
(which did not get a major of the votes from the, as measured, below average people.)
abc? cbs? nbc? cnn? not popping up like they usually do!
bbc? just a couple of lines……

  7. Brian D says:

Pass another joint, and lets see if we can get those ratings even lower. Sex, drugs, and the government dole baby! Rock on! Sarc/off

  8. Ed says:

We don’t have time for a meeting of the float Earth society.

  9. gator69 says:

Abolish the Department of Education, before it is too late.
