Cat Got Obama’s Tongue

In 2008, Obama said gay marriage was against his beliefs and against God’s beliefs.

“I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian — for me — for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.”

– April 17, 2008

In April, 2014, the Mozilla CEO was run out of his job when it was discovered that he gave $1,000 to a campaign which backed Obama’s stated belief about the nature of marriage.

You might have expected the President of the US to defend free speech and the First Amendment, which he took a vow (twice) to uphold. But instead Obama said nothing.

You might also be led to believe that the President is dishonest about his intentions, and not upholding his oath of office.

    Maybe the Little Dictator should be run out of office.

    Rational expectations from the irrational leaves one always a bridesmaid and never the bride …

    Typo alert! Should be Tongue.

    Obama’s position on the issue has “evolved”.

  5. Sparks says:

    Yea.. I think Gay people have the right to be miserable too!

    • _Jim says:

      Can I marry my pet bird and get tax credits too? Oh – that wasn’t the reason? Or was the reason just to make the rest of us straights more miserable (constant bi/tri/uni and tranny complaining)?

      We have a local talk show host whose favorite saying about these things goes like this:

      . . . . “You will be made to care.”

        Hey, I’m straight, I don’t object to anyone being miserable lol or happy, when it comes to the whole gay marriage issue I choose not to judge people and I’m sure religious institutions have made it clear where they stand on issue, therefor it’s an individuals right in what they believe, personally I wont be losing any sleep over it. 🙂

        • _Jim says:

          The correct answer was b), ” make the rest of us straights more miserable (by constant bi/tri/uni and tranny complaining)”

          There will be NO END to their whining, complaining – oh, and continued coercive efforts to make you care

    You’re not supposed to remember what they said before. How can a politician be electable if he can’t express different views for different people? It’s the art of being a blank canvas for voters to project their own beliefs upon to get elected.

    If a person is consistent and principled he is considered unelectable.

    Obama speaks with forked tongue. Liberals have no conscience or heart they are evil to the core.

      A party of highly self-centered socio and psychopaths.

      No wonder use of logic and attempts at reason meet with abject failure …

      The party of John F. Kennedy and “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” died at the hands of LBJ and the full institution of the progressive/librul state.

    No reason to defend free speech. The former CEO is still free to speak. The 1st amendment does not address speech without consequence.

    • usJim says:

      Maybe, just maybe, you missed something; the inference was speech in support of another’s free speech which had been subject to ‘repressive’ measures.

      Of course, if you don’t mind the repressive measures of the ‘PC” crowd, I suppose all is well.

        Didn’t miss anything. I am not necessarily happy with Eich feeling that he should resign, but such is life. This story has nothing to do with the 1st amendment. I would be surprised if any President would speak out about a matter such as this.

          So bye-bye 1st amendment and FS, as far as the prez is concerned. Got it. Tnx for playing.

          “First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—
          because I was not a communist;
          Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
          because I was not a socialist;
          Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
          because I was not a trade unionist;
          Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
          because I was not a Jew;
          Then they came for me—
          and there was no one left to speak out for me.”

          Who wrote anything about eliminating the 1st amendment? It deals with what government can an cannot do as it relates to speech. It says nothing about what citizens advocate for or against. As I stated earlier, I do not approve of the outcome but this story hardly rises to the level of Presidential attention. This is especially true since he was not fired but resigned. Yes they may have fired him eventually but the world is a harsh place and people on both sides play for keeps.

        • Sandra Fluke was rightly called a slut & received personal attention from the worthless Kenyan. The things that people choose to comment on are quite telling.

        • jst1 says:

          True. This President is hard to take seriously.
