Gavin Gets His Reward

Gavin proved he was fit to be GISS director, by declaring a perfectly ordinary month of April to be the hottest ever. This showed management that he had the necessary skills to keep the flow of misinformation ramping progressively upwards.

You are right, Steven, federal research agencies used federal research grants to support misinformation after the end of WWII.

World leaders had good reason to believe that Earth might be destroyed by uncontrolled release of nuclear energy in late August 1945.

Today we need to work for peaceful reconciliation so faith can be restored in government science.

Frightened world leaders worked to forbid the public from knowing that neutrons – energized by neutron repulsion – comprise the cores of

      1. Heavy atoms like Uranium
      2. Some planets like Jupiter
      3. Ordinary stars like the sun
      4. Galaxies like the Milky Way
      5. The expanding Universe

They are not at fault. Their intentions were noble. Today we need to forgive them so they are not compelled to defend the misinformation out of fear of public retaliation.

With respect to lies and deception, the new Minister of Propaganda could give Joesph Goebbels quite a run for his money.

http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/epa-be-sued-over-war-coal-robert-murray this is tricky there is a poll but YOU HAVE TO CLICK ON THE GRAPH yes 73% think AGW is made up democrat BS. If you don’t click it looks like only 27% agree

  5. Eliza says:

Actually no the graph shows the opposite sorry.

If you’re on the government dole, you learn quickly it’s in your best interest (e.g., career advancement, money, travel perks, honoraria) to deliver to your political bosses the answers they demand. No where is that more apparent than in the government-funded climate-science community.

Schmidt is no different from any politically driven bureaucrat-scientist. He cast aside his integrity (if, indeed, he ever had any) long ago. The field of climate science has degenerated into puritanical fear-mongering.

… sounds like a form of ‘professional prostitution’; money for desired ‘services’ delivered with a smile and involving, no doubt, the compromising of a set of morals learned earlier in life …

  7. Anto says:

I think it’s good, actually. The biggest travesty is that Hansen got to retire with his reputation intact. Perhaps Schmidt will get his just desserts and go down with the rusty, rat-infested ship.
