A national tax on anything that produces carbon emissions — gasoline, airplanes and coal-burning power plants — is the goal of the new Kentucky chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby, an international nonprofit group seeking to curb global warming.
Humans exhale a terrifying 40,000 PPM CO2 – enough to raise current atmospheric CO2 levels by 100X. In order to rescue mankind from global warming, breathing must be stopped through taxation or whatever other means is necessary.
What about ethanol, bio-gas methane, wood logs, chips, pellets? Do they get a pass ’cause they aren’t “fossil?”
I believe I would choose not to pay any ‘carbon’ tax on the simple basis that ‘carbon’ is not being emitted. The simple tests chemists used to identify elemental carbon as opposed to CO2 should be enough to satisfy any rational court (notice the qualifying term ‘rational’) that the two are obviously not the same, and the law is not applicable.

When CO2 was 280 ppm we exhaled 40,000 ppm. Now, we exhale 40,120 ppm, which is enough to cause asthma and heart attacks.
During the 1960’s I was told that France had taxes for the dead and a tax for breathing. I was a kid–and was told a lot of things. Some of those things were true.

All this is another way to get money out of people. According to the E.P.A. itself, carbon dioxide is an innocuous gas and a NON-pollutant.
Notice it is NOT the people from Kentucky but an INTERNATIONAL (read UN) NGO trying to impose THEIR will on the people of Kentucky from the OUTSIDE.
When will the people of the USA kick these blasted foreigners pedaling US annihilation into an orbit around the sun?
