The Sun is about to begin its annual descent towards winter at the North Pole, and temperatures there still haven’t made it above freezing yet this year.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

US Public opinion is swinging away from the alarmists and they’re getting ugly. Bit like religious fundamentalists with their treatment of non-believers.

Polar Amplification anyone???
I think it’s more like oceanic decadal oscillations going into negative mode (especially AMO, in the case of the Arctic), a lucky distribution of MYI at the end of last summer and low solar radiations (despite the 2nd peak of cycle #24 since last October, that is only now starting to decline).
These 3 factors should persist at least until the beginning of the next decade, with direct effect of cooling and increasing ice in both polar regions.
If polar amplification implies warmer poles (as the warmist wikipedia says), then it’s certainly not happening- especially in the last 2 years.
Looks like it is going to visit Svarlbad. No melt ponds as far as I can on the web cam.

It will be satisfying beyond words if the arctic returned to 70s levels this next winter…. after a summer near the mean. The Klimate Kooks heads will be spinning 360’s, as they projectile vomit green goo.
I really agree, even if it only reaches the average by the end of the year it’ll be great. The chances are high.
Make that green Kool-Aid.
Other buoys near the pole show the same.
