Arctic ocean is a shallow ocean, over the decades, nay centuries, ice comes, goes, flows with tides and winds. No evidence that Man-Made CO2 has done much of anything that hasn’t happened before.
Oh, incidentally FWIW, the indigenous population being sermonized about are not the original inhabitants:

Now it’s too warm in Alaska for salmon, which is why we still have them down here in New York.
It is interesting to note that National Geographic says there are too many salmon in the Pacific Ocean, while this article says there are too few in a river basin flowing into the Pacific. The article implies the insufficiency in the Alaskan river basin is due to global warming, yet that claimed global effect is not suppressing the salmon population of the huge Pacific Ocean. The way the claim of the global warming effect is presented in the article makes that claim seem highly conjectural.
The salmon are back in record numbers (more than 400%) due to a stunningly successful ocean fertilization project that National Geographic, Scientific American, and other Eco Nazi groups called criminal:

Like Scientific American, National Geographic has been taken over by over-educated scientific illiterates who think they are smarter than everyone else.
That was an interesting read Louis. Thanks for the link. I’ve known about the use of iron to create algal blooms for just over a decade. They did a tiny trial here off WA to see whether it would create a bloom and help use more iron ore from the Pilbara when prices were low and miners were going broke. It created the bloom but with such a tiny amount of iron ore the miners lost interest immediately. I’m so glad it worked for the salmon fishery, as they underpin the west coast biology. The Lefties are pissed because they didn’t propose it at Copenhagen or Cancun.
They must be talking about Poseidon – since he is in the deep oceans and that is where all the CAGW heat has been going. Meanwhile the Conservative Australian Government has killed Australia by sacking climate scientists. At least that is what Michio Kaku thinks. I disagree.

Ahhh, so the actual problem was government to begin with, and let me guess, we need more government to fix this? Right?
During the late 1800s and through to the first part of the 1900s there was still discussion about where US and Canadian boundaries should be, and which country was in control of what area. In an attempt to establish stronger claim to some regions, the semi-nomadic residents in the far north were often forced (by both governments) to settle into villages. The village locations were chosen not on the basis of suitability for long term use, but on factors such as whether passing ships could easily access the location. Natives who refused to settle down were threatened with prison — or worse. One of the results is that temporary summer hunting camps, traditionally established on shifting sand bars and gravel spits, became year round villages. Now that the gravel spits are eroding away (as they always have!) the CAGW cultists are yelling, “rising oceans are washing away whole villages! These people have survived in the North for thousands of years but now they are being destroyed!”

If by ‘global warming’ they mean the scam of AGW, and if my ‘god’ was the economy, then yes.
