Yeah, let’s see how the Arctic ice will do this summer.
I believe solar radiations will play a decisive role to define the final summer ice extension, http://www.landscheidt.info/?q=node/50
The article says this is Tomso Norway. According to this site, they have 24 hours of daylight there at this time of year: http://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/norway/tromso
Hard to imagine, (at least for us southerners)
Looks like they are having a nice spell of summer sunshine at the moment.
Being so close to the Arctic they can be affected by changes in wind direction , get a northerly and it will be cold and snow. Who would have thunk it … so not surprised why Thor ( Thaw ? … ho ho ) thought it unusual.
A sign of climate change? Cooling?

We’re still in a period of solar maximum, although the maximum of cycle 24 is starting to decline, but 2015 will be much more interesting! 🙂

Keep in mind the Tromsø is well above the arctic circle.

Steven, buckle in. You made the top title at Drudge! Might want to get a bouncer. 🙂
That picture on Drudge looks more like Monica’s boyfriend’s wife to me. My hair is much thinner.
Norwegian children will not know what summer is!!
Caused by global warming, I mean global climate change, I mean climate disruption.
This snow is clearly in denial.
First time ever snow in June, hey, that’s just weather. Now a record high temperature, that definitely would be climate change. /sarc
No, NOT “only in Norway.” I had snow here in Oregon last week at Santiam Pass (only about 5,000 feet above sea level).
