Glaciers have been melting in Alaska for thousands of years.
As you enter Glacier Bay in Southeast Alaska you will cruise along shorelines completely covered by ice just 200 years ago.
Explorer Captain George Vancouver found Icy Strait choked with ice in 1794, and Glacier Bay was barely an indented glacier. That glacier was more than 4000 ft. thick, up to 20 miles or more wide, and extended more than 100 miles to the St.Elias Range of mountains.
By 1879 naturist John Muir found that the ice had retreated 48 miles up the bay. By 1916 the Grand Pacific Glacier headed Tarr inlet 65 miles from Glacier Bay’s mouth.

These people just can’t stop lying about the climate. It is all they know.
This is simply unbelievable, highly unreal. So many conflicting facts and opinions, as if.today’s modern climate scientist had no access to the recorded knowledge and notes of those who preceded them in exploring the world.
It is, as if, today’s modern climate scientist lives an isolated click-ish/clan-ish intellectual life, away from common knowledge (appearing in newspapers even!) passed down just a hundred plus years back.

Yeah, and I think the fear mongering bullshit artists just don’t care what happened 150 years ago. They’re looking for information or “data” that fits their narrative. Everything else they’ll disregard. And they’ll talk about the melting glaciers in Alaska as if that spells doom. I’m sure they actually know that the glaciers have been melting for hundreds of years. That point they conveniently forget to mention.

Oooohhh… good one. Yes, he was not a climatologist — therefore everything he reported can be discounted. In fact, since climatology is a young science, every report older than 30 years can be discounted (if convenient!)
