The wind behind the cold front blew my Begonia over this morning.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

DAMN YOU GLOBAL WARMING!!!!
I hope your begonia survived the climate onslaught…..
Was that gust big enough o be declared a “fish-hurricane”??
Extreme weather on the rise. I had a fever on Friday of 99.8 F. I blame that on AGW.
That was a really bad fever. I thought I was coming down with a cold/flu but my temp was the usual 97.6 F.
I wonder how much money it will take to stop this kind of climate chaos. Probably a lot.
Extreme weather caused by global climate change.
Begonia reaches tipping point….
Excellent response!
The way I see it is that it could have been avoided by buying a heavier flower box. You knew this would happen one day. In a way it’s Heller made Disaster . Climate had nothing to do with it.
it’s a Heller made Disaster
yes, once again proving a reaction to weather is cheaper then trying to change the weather.
The FORCE is the Creator, Destroyer and Sustainer of Life.
The FOOLS thought they could hide the FORCE that destroyed Hiroshima.
The FORCE that breaths life into the universe is opposing but unequal forces of attraction and repulsion:
1.Strong, short-range repulsion between the compressed form of matter – neutrons
2. Weak, long-range attraction between expanded forms of matter – hydrogen atoms
You could probably get a few million bucks from FEMA.
Another $1 billion weather disaster! We are all going to die and you don’t care!
OMG plants were knocked off the rail.
OSHA!
It wasn’t the wind, that Begonia knew you weren’t going to repot it so it marched in protest. (You shouldn’t have told it about the NYC climate march. You gave it ideas.)
I hope you repotted the poor thing in a nice big heavy clay pot.
I’m pretty sure that was a warm front, as it made for an 86f day here a few hundred miles south of you….
Temperatures are warm in front of a cold front.
Yes warm is relative to cold, and vice verca… ;p I was speaking of that big low off the coast moving northward like a failed hurricane. Brought all that hot air up from the depths of the Atlantic I suppose…
The Horror! When will Avaaz arrange the Billion Begonia March?
Uh umm! You might want to invest in a proper pot. Something substantial that will hold up to the high winds during hurricane season. Not the plastic container the flower came in when you purchased it while at Home Depot. There, of course, is a Federal Plan that will allow you to apply for funds to upgrade your flower pot from the current ill designed Bolshevik container to a proper Marxist one. First you must live in a designated flood plain. If not designated, just claim it is; no one checks anyway. Knowing this, your chances of getting money from a Federal Program, like FEMA; is a sure bet. If you purchase more plants, and it is not necessary to know who the breeder is, will increase your monthly benefits. Work the system Tony; just work the system.
The next SyFy movie – Begonianado …
Oh dear,I have just two words in reply to hurricane Begonia.. Unprecedented! Catastrophic!
Honestly, Tony, you should take better care of that begonia. It’s been through hell and back.
You’re lucky there’s not a Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Fauna.
Flora.
Unless the Begonia starts to grow legs and move.
In which case you’re right.
With a Heller Begonia you just never know…. I think I see a leg sprouting.
You did see the movie about the plant that ate people and ran around?
Lucky for Steven, his can’t do this otherwise we would see this Begonia in the news!
Little Shop of Horrors
My warped sense of humor got the better of me again.
Flora.
Unless the Begonia starts to grow legs and move.
As one of my favorite philosophers and commentators on the human condition is want to say, “DOH!”
And here I thought you saw that little foot sticking out from under the bottom most right hand leaf too. {:>D
