If Western Civilization Ended, Circa 2014, it was because the low information voters were too stupid to realize they were being scammed by the Luddites and the elite who were using them to usher in the return to feudalism and serfdom.
“Global Temperature Anomaly” is a statistical spin-doctor concept, with no physical meaning.
The important region for any truly GLOBAL warming is the tropical oceans, and they have not been warming for at least 25 years. There has been some warming in cold and dry Northern and polar regions, but they don’t produce enough extra water vapour to turn modest AGW into CAGW.
“Global Temperature Anomaly” gives equal weight to all regions and disguises the fact that we’ve only had regional (not global) warming.
Water vapor is a coolant, not a source of heat.
Tropical oceans are the energy in
The polar regions are the energy out.

We know that Warmists will never admit that CO2 cannot warm the planet. But, at what point will Luke-Warmists admit that CO2 can not warm the planet?
The fence-sitters need to make up their minds. They need to learn that there is right and wrong…and no ‘middle ground’. This quasi-maybe-a portion of it BS that has even more convoluted manpulations to make it ‘work’ than CAGW itself isn’t doing anyone any good. And in the long run, it’s hurting everyone trying to put a stake through the heart of blood sucking, money sucking monster that the IPCC et al is.
CO2 raises the temperature of the lower atmosphere, and you make skeptics look like idiots when you say otherwise.
IMO, a more accurate statement about CO2 is “Increasing concentrations of CO2 change atmospheric circulation”.
Consider your own graphs of Max temps (cooling) vs. Min Temps (somewhat stronger warming). To say that CO2 warms the lower atmosphere is not entirely correct and adds little to understanding (unless you are banging a drum for grant money).

I’ve been trying to come up with some analysis of hourly station data http://gcmd.nasa.gov/records/GCMD_gov.noaa.ncdc.C00532.html that would further enlighten the effects of CO2 on circulation and on the hourly temperature profile.
One thought I’d had was to find or rank the top days in terms of MAX/MIN difference over the duration of stations data. My hypothesis is that those days will be heavily weighted towards lower CO2 concentration years.
Wish I had some time for that. 🙂
A radiative absorptive molecule can NOT raise the temperature of anything below its energy level. CO2 is NOT “magic”.
