That one has gone straight over my head, Steven
Is that the Boulder house from Mork and Mindy?
Bingo
I love seeing Victorian houses out west. They aren’t exactly rare, but back east we have millions of them.
A ‘Painted Lady’ I love it when the owners paint them in true (gaudy) style.
“Painted Ladies are known for their vibrant colors and intricate detailing. … “
Nice pictures here
Mork and Mindy’s house looks like it is in funeral colors in comparison.
The one you show is a little over the top Gail, but most of them I really like. Why not have a little fun in life.
My granddaughters would love them–kinda like their clothes. — Conservative in style and in what they reveal but wild in color !
Such houses are a “San Francisco treat”.

I too don’t understand the significance of the header.
I do remember the house from my days of taking the bus to uni in Boulder. I think it is on either Spruce or Pine St.
I recently viewed a utube video with both Robin Williams and Jonathan Williams appearing on the Johnny Carson Show together. There are few men with the high comedic abilities of these two men. I miss them both.
Sorry I only have enough time for a pic…

Those are traditional victorian colours in the UK, I believe
Why would Saint Peter send Mr. Williams to heaven when he was so anti-God throughout his entire public career? Why would he force Robin Williams to endure eternity with a god he despised so much? That would be a terrible punishment! It would be hell for Robin Williams!! Instead, God allows all who reject God to spend eternity in a place where God is conspicuously absent – a place where there is no love, no peace, no joy (since they are all attributes of God). All who reject God in life then spend eternity separated from God – just as they had wished. The cartoon above is actually quite cruel: depicting those who hate God to be forced to endure His company for an eternity… It denies the free will of each of us.
You would have God follow Secular Humanists’ reworking of the Golden Rule–“Do unto others as they would have you do unto them.” I would be willing to bet God is smarter than that, and knows the true Golden Rule is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Even as an agnostic, I would think that God, if he indeed exists, would not punish a man for his thoughts, rather his actions. Robin Williams did nothing that I can tell that would consign him to Hell.
Agreed.
There are too many hypocrites around who profess a belief in God and figure it gives them a free pass to do ill.
Instead, God allows all who reject God to spend eternity in a place where God is conspicuously absent – a place where there is no love, no peace, no joy (since they are all attributes of God).
Damn…that means Washington DC IS Hell!
Nanu Nanu, Orson.
Not cool Steven. Robin Williams was a saint! He made the ultimate sacrifice so that we would not have to suffer a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel. Show some respect.
I saw the purple hand-paint Victorian and it reminds me of some of the Victorian houses we have back east: https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en&pb=!1s0x89de39cfae37ac9d:0x8fd710e59bf1ee5c!2m5!2m2!1i80!2i80!3m1!2i100!3m1!7e1!4shttps://plus.google.com/105258259621918663031/photos?hl%3Den%26socfid%3Dweb:lu:kp:placepageimage%26socpid%3D1!5sbachelors+mansion+saratoga+springs,+ny+-+Google+Search&sa=X&ei=jE8SVMzPNM6RyATPxIEo&ved=0CJcBEKIqMAk
It doesn’t say, but that’s a pic of my neighbor’s house here is Saratoga, NY. He gets so mad because my house is better than his.
