Maryland high school teaches children that ISIS treats people “with tolerance, kindness and respect” as they rape, torture, enslave and behead them.

Wood’s wife, Melissa, wondered how teaching about one religion is considered a history lesson while teaching about Christianity would be viewed diffrerently.

“We cannot discuss our Ten Commandments in school but they can discuss Islam’s Five Pillars?”

The three-page assignment asked questions including, “How did Muslim conquerors treat those they conquered?”

A homework assignment obtained by MyFoxDC.com showed the correct answer was, “With tolerance, kindness and respect.”

It has gotten to the point where I can not take a walk during the day without bumping into some whacked out progressive walking a huge aggressive dog, which they can’t control. There are at least four of them in my neighborhood. These morons are afraid of guns, so instead they get big, nasty, useless dogs which obviously make them miserable and are a genuine threat to the public safety. I never worried about gun owners in Colorado, but I am terrified of dog owners in Maryland.

      In Britain, most of the attacks on children occur during heatwaves. Exactly forty years ago a classmate was killed by his best friend’s German Shepard. The lad with the dog unsurprisingly went off the rails.

    Slavery in many cases, but not always. The capture of Constantinople was an unusual case and a high point in Islamic history:

    The dog problems are a microcosm of liberal thinking. They refuse to discipline the dog preferring to train it with only “positive” reinforcement training. They don’t understand that you cannot control anything using only positive feedback, machines, nature, animals… it doesn’t work. They have zero understanding of pack hierarchy and dominance and they anthropomorphize the dog’s actions and temperament and never discipline the animal (they do the same with their children.) Therefore the dog decides that it can be the alpha in the pack since it’s owner is obviously the less powerful, submissive follower… that never ends well with large dogs, or any animal for that matter.

    As usual, it isn’t the fault of the dog, it’s the fault of the liberal panty wetter that has zero understanding of dogs, nature or common sense and shouldn’t be allowed to own a stuffed animal much less a dog or, heaven forbid, raise children.

      One thing is for sure, it’s in a different far more state restricted place that when the founders put these words into the declaration of independence: “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

      (Oh and just to be clear the statement “with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence” was not in Jefferson’s draft. It was added by the assembly.

      There is no such thing as “separation of church and state.” That phrase comes from a letter penned by Thomas Jefferson some 20 years after the Constitution was written. Even then Jefferson had nothing to do with writing our Constitution and was not even in the country when it was debated and written.

      Our Constitution is designed to prevent the State from interfering in ANY religious activity or from forcing the tenets of a single State religion on the populace. That doesn’t mean that there cannot be a State religion. About half of the original States had official religions and some persisted until the 1830’s. The anti religious cr*p supposedly based on the “establishment” clause of the Constitution was made up by the SCOTUS out of whole cloth in 1947 by a court full of Roosevelt appointed justices. The same guys that gave us the wonderful Wickard v. Fliburn decision in ’42 that made up (again out of whole cloth) the notion that the feds could regulate anything even remotely connected to “commerce” no matter how tenuous the connection. All part of the Progressive destruction of our Republic that’s been going on since our good buddy Woodrow Wilson.

        You should amend your comment to add “in the constitution”. There is indeed separation of church and state as decreed by SCOTUS. And yes, they used the letter of Jefferson to arrive at the ruling. But based upon the Constitution, where they got it is irrelevant. They have decreed it, ergo it does exist.

        As such, this is a clear case of the violation of that decree.

          Most people don’t get that distinction. They have heard “separation of church and state” and Constitution jumbled together so often that giving them the full explanation just does not get through. They can’t “see” the difference, and their usual response is “Well, christians are the ones trying to oppress everyone!”. Don’t even try to use facts with that crowd, they refuse delivery.

      As to a mosque, it is where ever the mullah/imam happens to be standing when they speak. And in islam there is no separation of state and church, it is both.

    Progressives get along with Islamists very well because they envy the ease with which they enslave populations and keep them in subjugation. Hitler, a progressive, also got along well with the Muslims in North Africa because of the ease with which they slaughtered Jews. The Muslim Brotherhood served as his intelligence organization there.

    Either you run the dog or the dog runs you. Far too many people have dogs they are unable or unwilling to train.

    As for the school incident, possesing such racist and inflamatory documents as anything from Nation of Islam is no surprise at all. And this guy will be harassed with the legal system, and if he is having dealings with the VA he is doubly screwed.

    Progressives have a lock on the education system in Maryland for two reasons. School board members are appointed rather than elected. The districts are unionized and have been for decades.
    In non-appointed states like Arizona treating parents like we see happening more and more back east can get a recall petition going really fast, not to mention angry mobs at school board meetings.

    I’ve always wondered what would have happened to the Ten Commandments if early Man had adopted the Octal system instead..

    Unfortunately, the Statute system was developed – up to 6 million and counting.

    Dogs. The local delivery guys keep a supply of dog biscuits. The FedEx guy told me today that the biscuits solved all of their dog issues, and they all do it now. Toss a dozen in your easy access pocket and use them to disarm the critters..

    I have friends with pit’s and rut wilder’s and shepherds all friendly dogs it is the owner that makes the dog , Though I was scared of one friends red dobbie

      There are bad dogs. That said, it is far more often an issue of a bad owner. I have taken pits from bad owners. Not a cop or ACO. Just the guy pissed off at a dog being abused. Funny thing is only one of those “owners” even resisted. Mouthed off about how much money he had “in” the dog. Put her in my truck and drove the f**k away. She was one of the sweetest, happiest dogs I have ever known.

      Personally I think it is a matter of both breeding and conditioning. Dogs have personalities just like we humans. I recently bought an American Cocker Spaniel. We have had 4 of them over the years. We love the breed. I learned long ago that the breed was almost ruined back in the 70s when it happened to become the most popular breed in the US.

      Fact is that when a breed becomes very popular the puppy mills and everyone else out to make a buck screw up the pedigrees. And so you hear the stories about cockers being snappy and unpredictable. It just isn’t true for a well bred example of the breed though.

      The same goes for the American Bull Dog but for them it was even worse than with rots and dobermans because you have the assholes fighting them.
