Climate Jihad

Neither the radical climate religion nor the radical Islam religion tolerate any dissent or blasphemy against their prophets.

Both believe that the world depends on everyone else believing the same mindless nonsense that they do.

Hillary Clinton to make climate ‘top of agenda’ for White House run

Presidential bid could be first in US history to make global warming key election issue, highlighting differences with Republicans

    By Ed King

Tacking climate change and investing in clean energy would be a priority for a Hillary Clinton presidency, according to the man running her bid to become the next US president. John Podesta, who recently quit his job as advisor to President Barack Obama, tweeted this would be “top of the agenda” for Clinton as she prepares her run for the White House. A Washington veteran who was also advisor to Bill Clinton, Podesta is widely credited as the brains behind Obama’s climate change plan, published in 2013.

In a speech last December Hillary Clinton said Obama’s carbon cutting policies “must be protected at all costs”, labelling them “unprecedented” and calling for politicians to “act decisively… to head off catastrophic consequences.”

He wants a stable climate! What do we have currently, if not stable? CO2 levels over 350 ppm were suppose to give us category 7 and 8 hurricanes, sea levels 20′ higher than they are today, no ice in the Arctic and Antarctic, droughts never before recorded in history, and biblical floods; it was meant to be a painful and horrible death.

Was has happened is……………….nothing extraordinary. Weather is well within the norms established in the past. Ho-hum.

Just another scare story to extract more taxes.

  9. spren says:

Despite what the climate cultists call the issue today, the solution is always the same in that we need to reduce CO2 emissions. But, as I understand, humans only generate about 4% of the total generated annually. So even if we impossibly removed all of our emissions, how could that have any significant effect? I was reading a thread on WUWT yesterday where several commenters were claiming that the increase in atmospheric CO2 volumes since the end of the LIA are mostly due to the human contributions. I was stunned that even Roy Spencer agreed with that claim. Does anyone have any definitive knowledge of the truth in this regard? If we contribute such a minor amount of the total, how can our paltry share be the major factor in the rise? I find this very hard to believe. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    • That’s a false argument, and you should not use it. The warmists will kill us with the “humans only make 4% of the CO2” line of argument.

If you put $104 in the bank every day and spend $100, you will gain money in the bank.

      • Humans have raised the CO2 level. We know how much coal and oil we’ve burned, how much CO2 is in the air, etc…..the math is simple. The rise from 280 to 400 ppm is due to humans. Don’t argue against this fact, you will lose. Stick to the real facts.

        • Disillusioned says:

“The rise from 280 to 400 ppm is due to humans. Don’t argue against this fact, you will lose. Stick to the real facts.”

Morgan. It looks like you’re claiming 100% of the rise from 280 ppm to 300 ppm is due to humans. If you’re going to make a categorical claim like that, please prove it. I don’t know what humans are responsible for. I’ve heard it is 4-7%, and never had one warmist challenge it with any solid, dissenting data – let alone “kill” it. CO2 leaches out of the ground, out of the oceans, and out of volcanoes. Those are “real facts”. Humans aren’t responsible for all that. You say the math is simple, then please show the math that humans are responsible for all of it.

        • Disillusioned says:

          280 ppm to 400 ppm

        • darrylb says:

The CO2 levels as measured In Hawaii have been rising steadily.
Also, the % of CO2 that is not radioactive has increased showing that
more is coming from fossil fuels. That can be explained further if someone requests it

However, the points that are important have been discussed here,
For several reasons, it can be shown that increases in CO2 will cause little
to no increase in net downward radiation from the atmosphere.

Also, increases in CO2 will have beneficial effects in terms of plant growth.

        • Herve D says:

Would you dare to be honest in 25 yers from now, at a time when natural forces driving CO² in air will make it to again partially self dissolve in seas at a rate higher than any anthropomorphic rate could reach? This means CO²atmosphere ppm content will dive whatever lie alarmists of the future will claim? Would your simple math be swallowable by you by then? We are confronting a severe Earth cooling age starting now and none wants to see it… and Sun is in command. LOL!…..

      • spren says:

I wasn’t making an argument. I stated what I have heard for years as the supposed ratio of human to total and then asked if anyone had the definitive facts. To say that we are responsible for entire increase since the LIA seems to imply that humans produce more than the rest of nature combined. I stated that I found that hard to believe. Your example of the money into the bank indicates that natural CO2 was in perfect balance prior to human contributions. Geologic history which shows dramatic swings in volumes prior to human production makes that seem very unlikely.

        • Nature deposits and withdraws 100 dollars a year. You add 4.

        • Nature deposits and withdraws 100 dollars a year and we add 4. After 100 years we have added 400 dollars. 400 is bigger than 100 even though 4 is less than 100. Please find another line of argument.

        • Tim Groves says:

Morgan, nature deposits a bit more than it withdraws these days. Since the depths of the Little Ice Age, ocean temperatures have been rising, and this is causing a certain amount of outgassing of CO2 into the atmosphere. That’s why the annual increment measured in Hawaii has remained fairly constant for sixty years despite a tripling of anthropogenic fossil fuel burning. Dr. Salby in his talk in London last month analyzed the issue and I understand that came up with a figure of no more than about 28% of the increase coming from hydrocarbon combustion. Also, remember in the ice proxy records, changes in atmospheric CO2 almost always lag behind temperature changes by several centuries.

    • Disillusioned says:

spren: ” Does anyone have any definitive knowledge of the truth in this regard?”

Sorry, I don’t. It would have been nice if Morgan had answered your question, and provided the “simple” math for his categorical claim that humans are responsible for the CO2 from 280 ppm to 400 ppm, rather than saying that you made a “false argument” and scolding you about what not to say.

      • spren says:

Thanks Disillusioned. If it is true that warming precedes CO2 then it seems that the increase in temps causing the end of the LIA would also promote outgassing from the oceans thereby contributing to the increase in ppm. But I posed the question because I would like to understand the issue. Not sure why Morgan was so testy, especially since I don’t really care what the warmists might say.

        • The CO2 produced by warming has an 800 year lag. Has it been 800 years yet?

        • Ben Vorlich says:

          Morgan Wright
800 years takes us back to early 13th late 12th century, in fact if you consider CO2 started rising significantly early/mid 20th century then early/mid 12th century is when you should be looking for a warm period.

          What do we find?
Famines were a familiar occurrence in Medieval Europe. In France during the fourteenth century alone, famines occurred in 1304, 1305, 1310, 1315–1317 (the Great Famine), 1330–1334, 1349–1351, 1358–1360, 1371, 1374–1375 and 1390. In England, famine-years included 1315–1317, 1321, 1351, and 1369

The onset of the Great Famine coincided with the end of the Medieval Warm Period. Between 1310 and 1330 northern Europe experienced some of the most unfavourable winters for human survival and least favourable for food harvests in the entire Middle Ages,

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Famine_of_1315%E2%80%9317

So in about 100 years or so we should be able to detect the start of the LIA.

        • All you have to do is find out how much coal and oil humans have burned. We have all the records going back to the industrial revolution. Figure out how much CO2 you get from that much coal and oil, figure out how much that raises the atmospheric CO2 level and figure out the ocean and other sinks. The math is simple and has been done years ago. Please don’t argue that humans haven’t raised the CO2 level by burning fossil fuels If you want to argue against AGW you have to use valid arguments. If you want to win an argument against bullshit artists you can win by spewing bullshit of your own. You are trying to say the increase in CO2 comes from a warming that happened 800 years ago, and not from fossil fuels? Please stop.

        • can’t win, not can win

This is known as having your cake and eating.

Which of the above statements is the actuality.

I reckon you’ve just painted yourself into a corner.

        • Bob Greene says:

Morgan Wright: So, you believe they have done all the math and know precisely how much CO2 and other GHG’s have been emitted by source and how much is absorbed by sinks precisely enough to distinguish atmospheric molecules by source? Is that because someone showed you the formulae for CO2-carbonate equilibria in water? So, they have nailed down ocean temperature by depth for all oceans, ocean currents, volcanic sources, undersea sources, CO2 and methane from organic decomposition, natural methane sources, CO2 uptake by plants and all the other variables? The estimates are slightly better than throwing spitballs against the wall and seeing what sticks. Why else would they be clamoring for more research funding?

These guys don’t have the intellectual integrity to include estimates of errors with things like atmospheric anthropogenic CO2, even the silly qualitative low-medium-high certainties, because if they did, you just might not have such high confidence in the results.

Looks like the JV team is not only practicing for an away game, they’re here! Thanks to our enabling of drug cartels, the junior barbarian basketballers are at our gates, and are intent on an upset…

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.

Law enforcement and intelligence sources report the area around Anapra is dominated by the Vicente Carrillo Fuentes Cartel (“Juárez Cartel”), La Línea (the enforcement arm of the cartel) and the Barrio Azteca (a gang originally formed in the jails of El Paso). Cartel control of the Anapra area make it an extremely dangerous and hostile operating environment for Mexican Army and Federal Police operations.

According to these same sources, “coyotes” engaged in human smuggling – and working for Juárez Cartel – help move ISIS terrorists through the desert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico. To the east of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, cartel-backed “coyotes” are also smuggling ISIS terrorists through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas. These specific areas were targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces, and the relative safe-havens the areas provide for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling that was already ongoing.

Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.

They’ve been training on the east coast for years, Gator. The local law enforcement agencies in and around Saylorsburg, PA (in the Poconos), along with the State Police, have been keeping a keen eye on this group. The Feds are doing nothing!

“Five men — all foreign-born and described as “radical Islamists” by federal authorities — allegedly trained at a shooting range in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains to kill “as many soldiers as possible” at the historic Army base 25 miles east of Philadelphia. A sixth man was charged with helping them obtain illegal weapons . . . According to the indictments, the video came from firearms training in the Poconos . . . .”

          http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/05/08/AR2007050800465.html

Guess where the shooting range was located?

        • gator69 says:

As I recall they trained in the Poconos and somewhere in New Jersey. They were amateurs, and were caught before they could do any real harm. The people that sold them the land and their neighbors were all suspicious of their ‘compund’, and the Feds were alerted to their activities before they could even acquirte their full armament.

That was 8 years ago, and back them ISIS was nothing more than an Egyptian godess. Times have changed, and the new generation of Jihadis learned from the rookie mistakes of their failed predecessors. Now the real pro’s are grouping in a lawless area south of our border and have money to burn, as well as a drug cartel for partners that makes the Mexican miltary look like the Keystone Cops. A drug cartel that knows how to acquire weaponry, and move illegals across our borders at will.

This is a whole new tournament, and Skeeter’s Muslim Madness picks are not going to stop them this time. This is not a JV team, unless that stands for Jihad Victory. These guys are the real deal, and are being aided by the best of the worst.

Google or Youtube what the cartels are doing, and then consider what they could do if they were religious zealots bent on taking over the world, by bathing it in blood.
