For the first time, climate scientists have been able to ferret out the highly correlated relationship between grant money and attribution of weather.

I’m certainly glad we have the geniuses at the NCDC to tell us which droughts were anthropogenic and which ones were natural.

  2. gator69 says:

Grant money for AGW sure causes droughts of ethics and honesty amongst its recipients.

  3. SMS says:

Mann made droughts can only be ended using artificial water. It’s up the government, using our tax dollars, to provide the needed artificial water to end the Mann made drought. Only the government can end this Never-seen-before, worse than could ever be imagined, Mann made drought. Thank god for the government. Where would we be without them?

A hell of a lot better than we are now. All the problems currently being experienced by California are the direct result of bad decisions made by the California state government.

  4. Andy DC says:

There has only been one major (20% or more) reduction in the US corn crop due to drought in the last 27 years. There were 4 such reductions in the 1930’s and 2 in the 1980’s. My conclusion, adding CO2 to the atmosphere has been great for the corn crop!

  5. Andy DC says:

Looks like perhaps some good rain in California next week. Plenty of snow in the mountains with very low snow levels for this time of year. Actually quite unseasonably cold over most of the US.

  6. Menicholas says:

From the graph, it appears that perhaps average conditions over the whole country are what is abnormal. We seem to swing regularly from too wet to too dry, with few years right near the average.
Where I live, we average about 56 inches of rain a year, but we never get it.

  7. Andy Oz says:

National Geographic announces that Desalination Plants are not the solution to California’s “water problem”. Shorter showers are the only proposed solution. And maybe a carbon tax.

I think psychiatric help for Californians is also necessary.

    • AndyG55 says:

Gees, I wish someone in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide had told them at desal wasn’t a solution.

Then we wouldn’t have wasted, and continue to waste, so much money on such useless white elephants.
