Political Opportunities Matter

Progressive politicians pretend that they haven’t heard about the thousands of black people shot and murdered in Chicago by other blacks under Obama’s watch.

Because political opportunities matter

Whenever I look at black on black violence, I am sickened. It is at crisis levels and no one is addressing it. So sad.

    Turkey pretends this never happened…

The Armenian Genocide[8] (Armenian: ????? ??????????????? Hayots tseghaspanutyun),[note 3] also known as the Armenian Holocaust,[9] the Armenian Massacres and, traditionally by Armenians, as Medz Yeghern (Armenian: ??? ?????, “Great Crime”),[10] was the Ottoman government’s systematic extermination of its minority Armenian subjects inside their historic homeland, which lies within the territory constituting the present-day Republic of Turkey. The total number of people killed as a result has been estimated at between 1 and 1.5 million.

Bat Ye’or has suggested that “the genocide of the Armenians was a jihad”. Ye’or holds jihad and what she calls “dhimmitude” to be among the “principles and values” that led to the Armenian Genocide.

    • On BBC World News last night I heard a Turkish scholar at an American University explain how the genocide of one million people wasn’t “technically genocide.”

      • Gail Combs says:

That just means a family or two managed to escape and they didn’t get to kill them ALL.

        • gator69 says:

The Armenians had been Christian since the 4th century, and prior to 1915, they made up 20% of Turkey’s population. Today, Turkey is .02% Christian.

      • gator69 says:

“Technically” he is correct, because the word was not coined until 1943.

Our own goverment still refuses to recognize this, because of our political ties with Turkey.

I am no longer a patriot. My country left me, and their principles, behind.

        • Gail Combs says:

Our country was betrayed by those who have sworn to uphold the Constitution. They are traitors as are those who also sworn to uphold the Constitution yet stood by and did not bring the traitors to justice.

      • Mark Luhman says:

As long as the left cannot blame that genocide on “the right” it cannot exist. After it only those evil conservatives that do wrong.

    • So, . . . what are we going to do about it? Mark Levin has suggested the Liberty Amendments. Sophisticated arguments thought they are, more is needed. It took a long time to get to this point. (FDR and before him Teddy and Wilson, lib/progs all of them) It will take a long time to get back on track. We must eliminate public education in its present form and it’s corrupting influences. Clean house in the public universities, etc. Unless and until, we’re fighting a losing battle.

“all” you have to do is remove all federal money from anything not actually national and de-federalize anything that is handled by the states, particularly crime, education, environment, etc.

We were endowed by our Creator with “inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”, but sacrificed those by refusing to accept reality revealed in Hiroshima’s ashes.

“One day in August 1945, while standing in the ruins of Hiroshima,” a nuclear geochemist who later became known as Professor Paul Kazuo Kuroda concluded, the BEGINNING of the world may have been just like this.” [1]

Two months later – on 24 Oct 1945 – frighten world leaders united nations (UN) and national academies of science (NAS) to rule by deceit and forbid knowledge of neutron repulsionthe driving force for creation of chemical elements from neutrons in cores of atoms heavier than ~150 amu (atomic mass units), planets, stars, galaxies and the expanding universe. [2]

We don’t like it, we don’t want to accept it, but reality is that every atom, life and world in the solar system – including the climate of every planet – is controlled by the PULSAR that:

    1. Made the atoms of our elements from neutrons
    2. Birthed the solar system five billion years (5 Ga) ago
    3. Sustained the origin and evolution of life on planet Earth after 3.5 Ga ago

      • Snowleopard says:

omanuel is mostly correct that it is not just climate science that is corrupt/controlled, but vast areas of science disallow any knowledge advancement that might be disruptive to the interests of our overlords. I liked being reminded of this the first time I saw his posts.

They bring many other things to mind. For one example, what is the point of CO2 controls if people could get “free” energy via earth’s magnetic field ala Tesla?

That said, it IS irritating to hear of it multiple times daily in threads that have little or no connection to his topic(s)
