Yesterday I got stuck behind a convoy of about 20 Halliburton fracking trucks in Northeastern Colorado, which according to President Obama are directly responsible for the permanent drought here.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

who won the staring contest?
The llama, because Dorothy got tired of waiting for Toto
Since measurements began in 1895, Alaska’s Hubbard Glacier has been thickening and steadily advancing into Disenchantment Bay. The advance runs counter to so many thinning and retreating glaciers nearby in Alaska and around the world.
The image above, acquired by the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8, shows Hubbard Glacier on July 22, 2014. The second image shows a close-up of the glacier’s terminus on that day. Yellow lines indicate the location of the terminus on August 1, 1978, and on July 13, 2002.

They also caused invasive species like Llamas.
That’s ok. They are edible.
And to think the governor of New York has banned fracing in his state. Without fracing you won’t see any oil shale drilling. How many jobs and how much revenue is that going to cost a state that already has financial problems? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/22/new-standard-ny-fracking-ban-set-to-start-soon/?intcmp=latestnews Without fracing you won’t see any oil shale drilling.
I had a puppy the same type, Collean was her name. She was a small English shepherd dog I got from the pound.
We had a flock of sheep back then. When she got out of the car, she ran up to the lambies and immediately became part of the flock and protected them from predators and slept with them and loved them greatly. It was amazing to see it happen, she never saw a lamb in her life up until then.
Alas, she is long gone, old age, poor darling.
Wow.
That looks like a Shihtzu, and one that looked one I had.
Anyway,
They only “drought” I am actually “seeing”, is a severe one of commonsense and honesty (ergo, THIS administration especially).
A Shihtzu-Dachshund mix
Any dog bred to go down a badger hole to get at the occupant as the dachshund was, has my vote. They were the original “tunnel rats”.
He is a great dog. His hunting instinct gets him in trouble though, because he used to disappear into the forest in Maryland chasing deer. A few times I didn’t think I would see him again.
Dogs have no concept of their size sometimes. It does bring up a rather humorous image of what would happen if your short legged buddy had managed to catch up with one.
A-HA!
“That looks like a Shihtzu”
no, its a Llama, !!
oh wait, you mean that piece of grey sheep wool stuck on the fence.
How can you tell? 😉
(please don’t ban me, SG.. they are nice dogs 🙂 )
Don’t know why, but whenever I see a woolly Shih Tzu, I think of these guys.

I have gotten very good at identifying certain dog breeds/characteristics. Plus, I had one.
Nice to see some camels returning to their ancient homeland.
I believe that particular camel is named Humphrey.
I see those thing all over the place in Indiana and some Alpaca too.
