Record Fake Expected In Atlanta On Tuesday

CBS news says it will be 97 degrees in Atlanta on Tuesday, but their forecast actually shows 90 degrees.  And on September 24, 1931 it was 101 degrees at Covington, the closest USHCN station to Atlanta.  Eleven degrees of fakery is pretty impressive!

What did we do without fake climate news each day?

There are no more reporters, only gullible journalists who chase the latest sensation, which currently is climate change. Then wonder why people are ever more cynical.

Having lived and worked in the Third World the navel gazing and stupidity of reporting these days is unbelieveable. There are a lot of serious issues in the world which could be reported on in lieu of these fake stories. A large no of people live in terrible conditions yet we splurge on unreliable energy from windmills and panels….the money could be better spent elsewhere.

I have noticed this happening on a very consistent basis. They talk about record heat potential, etc., forecast 95+ degrees expected…sometimes they actually slip in the famous “heat index” to really confuse people. In almost every case when they talk of 95+ degrees, we rarely make it much above 90. Almost always come up 3 – 5 degrees short of forecast. I don’t think is an accident.

Pretty sad that weather forecasting has become weaponized.

  3. Gator says:

I noticed one of my local channels has started graphing the heat index, and not the actual temperatures. Unless you look at the graphic closely, you would never know they are not representing actual temperatures. I believe this is all part of a plan, Soros and his minions have been trying to co-opt meteorologists into their scheme.

  4. Gamecock says:

Supposed to be 95 here Thursday, which would beat record of 94.

Being hot in South Carolina is nothing new. It was 98 here ten days ago. With higher dew point.

      South Carolina was 95F or above on September 26 in 1895, 1902, 1904, 1911, 1920, 1921, 1925, 1926, 1931, 1933, 1954, 1961, 1984, 1986, 2007, 2010 and 2016. Nothing in the least unusual about it.

  5. David Terrie says:

According to, it’s 90 degrees at 4:00 pm in Atlanta today.

  6. Dale Addink says:

No idea if it is the case, but a change in where the most stations are located could give a false impression from this graph.

It should only use stations that existed and continue to exist in the date range of the graph.
