It seems that Dr. Fauci is no longer making White House calls.

Check out this “Climate Action” survey by the City of Sedona, AZ. Talk about a prejudiced, biased survey full of false choices. What a waste of taxpayer resources.

I lived in Sedona during the 1980s, and was back there last week. People there are completely insane.

    In English Fauci means Jaws

The entire USA has an “excess death” rate about 5.5% (50,331) higher than the 4 year average.

As of 2020-05-22 the CDC data has North Carolina missing week 16 for 2020. The rest of the states are complete.

In some online discussions some were suggesting using “excess deaths” to see what effect the covid-19 disease is having and I thought that would be a reasonable approach as it gets past the deaths “with/from” issue.

All the data is from this CDC page:
    https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/fluview/mortality.html

The script and all related files are here if you want to kick the tires:

The script generates data for all 50 states plus DC and New York City (CDC treats it separately from New York State).
The “reports.xlsx” file has the accumulative totals for all reports.

Bars are open here in El Dorado County, California. Have been for a few weeks. Sacramento is opening up just today. One more reason I’m glad I didn’t take that job in L.A.
