  1. John Schaefer says:

There is a popular philosophy being propagated today that humankind can control nature when in fact humankind is just incidental to it. It’s present in Western culture with the belief in anthropogenic climate change, gender choice, and now control of the spread of a virus. Somehow, we can now command the tides. In years gone by it was God’s will. I’ve read articles by medical directors of public health arguing that herd immunity is some crackpot, dangerous idea. Why not add to the conversation that evolution and natural selection is too brutal an idea and cancel it.

  2. Steve Cooksey says:

Maybe farmers and ranchers should shut down their fossil fuel hungry machines until they convert to solar power. Take lots of money to the grocery store because if you can find some food it will very expensive.

    • Gator says:

Depends on what you call “truth”. They are not claiming that solar is cheaper for the end user, you and me. Their questionable claim has to do with how much capital is required to start up. They speak of “revenue support mechanisms”.

      ‘Nuff said.

    • GCSquared says:

“Solar power is now the cheapest electricity in history, according to the International Energy Agency.”

Yes, it’s definitely true: the IEA said that solar power is the cheapest in history.

Whether it is or not is a different question. The article fails to break out the expense items the IEA considers, much less to tabulate costs for each. There’s no way to tell whether what they’re reporting is actually true: you must just believe.

  3. John Sweeney says:

Is it just me or is it hubris that makes humans think they can control the climate of the planet?

  4. nfw says:

The drought continues all over the 7 sqm2 of the Australian continent. Well, except for all that wet stuff which won’t stop falling along the NSW coast. But if it happens in one small spot then it must be the same everywhere.

  5. MGJ says:

Good video and I only just spotted you are now on NewTube, which is good to see. Smart move, I think.

  6. Oztruthseeker says:

nfw, you forgot the BOM now saying that eastern Australia now faces a cooler and wetter than average summer or that it has already exceeded the average annual rainfall by several hundred millimetres or that the biggest dam in Sydney is close to capacity and possible spills but of course we’re still in a severe drought that will never see enough wet stuff fall again to fill our dams.

  7. BRUCE RUTTAN says:

Tony’s work is well researched and written in a friendly style. About half of the content of his articles explore the errors of man-made global warming and expose the propaganda. Science has been politicized to the breaking point, just as philosophy long ago became a moral sanction for despots.
