Climate Warning Stickers

Cambridge, Massachusetts is going to post climate warning stickers on their gas pumps.

According to John Cook, total annual CO2 emissions from earth’s surface are 800 billion tons.

How do human CO2 emissions compare to natural CO2 emissions?

According to the EPA, annual emissions from one vehicle average 4.6 tons.

So one vehicle emits 0.00000000006% of the Earth’s total emissions.  Vancouver, Canada already has these stickers on their gas pumps, telling people that their car is starving African children.

The reality is that electric cars are killing African children, not gasoline powered cars.

  1. Then why does Bill Gates invest in OIL?

  2. David Strutt says:

Trying to educate these morons is a waste of time and energy. Gas station franchisees should simply stop selling fuel and oil to Cambridge City council members. Make that a public declaration by way of bright yellow stickers with red borders right beside the ordinance stickers. That could expand to heating fuel distributors as well.

  3. pmessinger says:

So many problems plaguing the world could be eliminated if we could just all address the obvious need to end Global Stupidity; issues like Global Warming, poverty and fashion would likely disappear with the least effort, destruction and loss to economies.
The East and West coasts seem to be most profoundly affected.

    • Those who rule us consider themselves our intellectual superiors. Ruthlessness, dishonesty and self-interest are mistaken for intelligence. It is the Donning-Kruger effect observed throughout history; we have always been ruled by arrogant fools. Replace all the world leaders by ordinary Joe (and Jane) Soaps, off the street, and sense will prevail.

  4. Steve+Gouldstone says:

It’s the so-called ‘environmentalists’ in the west who are killing people in Africa by denying them the benefits of cheap electricity which they could use for cooking, heating, lighting, refrigeration etc.

If black lives mattered to Black Lives Matter perhaps they could take this issue up – saving potentially millions of African’s lives?

  5. Phil Watson says:

Love your videos. I am a lecturer in environmental sciences for years in 4 different countries. I find your videos very informative and well documented. Much better than many environmental texts. Thank you Keep up the good work!

  6. Climate Change Reason says:

That EPA calculation, how did they get to 8.8kg co2 per US gallon (3.78l)? Isn’t petrol lighter than water?

    • If they happily ignore conservation of energy in their junk science, who is surprised that they ignore conservation of mass?

    • D. Boss says:

It has to do with the actual chemistry of combustion. Think of it this way: the correct air/fuel ratio for gasoline is roughly 14.7:1. That is by weight, so for every gram of gasoline burned, your engine must ingest 14.7 grams of air, .

The details are 2 moles of gasoline [octane] which is C8H18, is combined with 25 moles of O2 to yield 16 moles of CO2 and 18 moles of H2O.

A mole of gasoline is 114 grams. A mole of O2 is 32 grams, a mole of water is 18 grams, and a mole of CO2 is 44 grams.

So 228g of gasoline combines with 800g of Oxygen, and when burned produces 704g of CO2 and 324g of water. [and each side of the reaction must balance so (228+800)=(704+324)=1028]

So if you burn 1 kilogram of gasoline, you produce 3.51 kg of CO2. One US gallon of gasoline is 2.83 kg, so burning one US gallon yields 9.93 kg of CO2

  7. WCK says:

If we could only put these stickers on politicians mouths, they might do some good. Co2 is NOT the problem, a random coronavirus is NOT the problem, the PROBLEM is the irrational fear whipped up in the sheeple and the lack of an IQ test for voting. The virus can ONLY be spread by people that are SICK with it, in the good old days you stayed home if you were sick, problem solved. Plus, it does not exist in the environment, so wearing a mask while hiking 10 miles from others, OR in your car is cause for you to be ridiculed.

  8. Alexander+MCCLINTOCK says:

I dream of the day when we all have ‘really-smart-meters’. All electricity customers can opt to use ‘green energy’ or not. When there is no green energy the power companies can turn off the electricity for the greenies using the ‘really-smart-meters’ ;)
    Sounds fair to me? ;)

  9. Richard says:

If oil is killing people (humans) why was the world population in 1870 approximately 1.2 billion worldwide to 7.7 billion in 2020 today. One must be careful when walking in the city streets, people are dropping like flies one could land on you.
Just how is oil killing people? another dark mystery only people like AOC, IPCC or Jr. can tell us, aka conjure up from their gas holes more likely.
In 1850 circa the death rate for kids under 5 was 45%+-, the average life expectancy was 45. Now from 2000BC Egypt the life expectancy was 19, it took 3800 years for the life expectancy to up 26 years.
With Oil now in use from say 1870 which is really early, closer to widespread use from 1900 to 2020 the life expectancy went from 45 to 75 a total of 30 years added in less than 120 years?
World population in 1000 AD was 310,000,000
World population in 1850 AD was 1.2 Billion so 850 years go jump 1 billion
Time of Oil age population went from 1.2 Billion to 7.5 billion in 2020, less than 160+- years for population to jump 7 Xs faster

  10. Steve Case says:

Use of this fuel product contributes
to climate change with may cause
    drought and famine”

    Total bullshit

    The IPCC tells us:
    Mean Precipitation
For a future warmer climate, the current generation of
models indicates that precipitation generally increases in the
areas of regional tropical precipitation maxima (such as the
monsoon regimes) and over the tropical Pacific in particular,
with general decreases in the subtropics, and increases at high
latitudes as a consequence of a general intensification of the
global hydrological cycle. Globally averaged mean water
vapour, evaporation and precipitation are projected to increase.

I saw a video showing a crowd of angry Ukrainian people putting some politicians head first in a trash bin!
I dream I could do th same 😄

    • Disillusioned says:

Or, bring back stockades in town squares. …

…On second thought, there are so many Climate Change apologists at the trough, between the corporatocrats, academics and politicians, the streets would be filled with the criminals, and the mess would be awful.

Life in prison is probably too good for the climate mafia. However, at least there, the scum would not be fouling up our streets.

    • Disillusioned says:

Ooops. I left out the MSM.

  12. Justa Joe says:

Warning: Without gasoline your car will be unable to operate, which may result in you being unable to get to work, feed your family, or heat your home.
