Once Elsa leaves the tropical building, the tropics are about as quiet as you will ever see them in mid July, In fact, we should time the all time record for least activity on July 10th globally tomorrow. ha ha

The only national weather figure who can be believed any longer

Excellent piece of work, Tony. So many great points packed into a short video.

I especially like your point about the fake cost-benefit analysis of fossil energy. CNN and the rest of the Left grossly exaggerate the costs of fossil feedstocks, while completely ignoring the benefits, then conclude that fossil resources need to go. It is 21st century agitprop, intended to deceive and compel the masses to action – and it’s working.

Please keep up your great work.

It’s now to the point where anything the left says is not to be believed. If they would at least try to be honest I could give them some credit, but they no longer even try. Pathetic. They are like zombies.

The MSM truly are the enemy of the people. Their willful actions over the past few decades have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people.
One famous example was Abu Ghraib. The US military was able to capture and subdue the forces of Saddam Hussein quickly and with relatively few casualties. However, following the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal (which impacted a very small number of people), particularly CNN International and the New York Times reported on the story in a grossly exaggerated negative way, every day for weeks and weeks. You could not have created a more effective recruitment tool for the insurgency that followed. And as the insurgents poured into Iraq, the body count soared

You hit the nail on the head about the msm, they have clearly picked a side, our constitutional republic needs a media that holds BOTH parties feet to the fire, when a whole host of thing are ignored (the power to ignore is huge) and the rest are made up, America is in trouble.

Tony, your videos get better & better! Any chance you can assemble them into a feature movie – it would blow Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth to pieces.

  6. Dave says:

I share your frustration. It’s a sad time when lies are considered truth and truth and raw data is considered lies.

  7. G-man says:

The 1st amendment insures freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom of press. If the media bills themselves as “NEWS” then they have an obligation to publish the facts. MSM reports narratives and propaganda. CNN MSNBC PBS Washington post New York times are all tools of the democrat national committee. They continually violate the the highest laws of our country. I can not express how much this is a violation to all the people of this country. MSM is manipulating society. Disgusting.

  8. Michael Spencer says:

We have exactly the same problem with the Left-wing Media in Australia. And so, reports such as: “97% of scientists say” appear regularly, and as I’m sure that you appreciate, the weather today is ‘unprecedented’!

    Oh, dear!

Besides being educated about Climate Change, Tony has also helped me become a better scientist, by elucidating all of the statistical tricks used by the politically captured portion of scientific community. Here is the “Bloomberg Trick” in the area of medicine:

    The Sugar Conspiracy

Although Keys had shown a correlation between heart disease and saturated fat, he had not excluded the possibility that heart disease was being caused by something else. Years later, the Seven Countries study’s lead Italian researcher, Alessandro Menotti, went back to the data, and found that the food that correlated most closely with deaths from heart disease was not saturated fat, but sugar.

The scientists there went to the data, found the correlation that supported their hypothesis and stopped. As an ethical scientist, I just assumed that they had looked at all of the other correlations and that the fat correlation was by far the strongest… but it was Tony that shook me out of that naïve delusion.

And so, for 30 years the United States went to war against dietary fat, which has resulted in an obesity epidemic (due to increased sugar consumption) and millions of deaths due to faulty medical advice.

Does anyone remember the era when “Fleischmann’s Egg Beaters” was all the rage, including Fleischmann’s margarine (which can’t be purchased any longer in its original trans fat laden form) and the Parkay “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!” campaign? With what we know now, that high carbohydrate, transfat laden “healthy breakfast” you thought you were consuming, based on the best medical science, was actually causing your problems… which of course could then be offset with high price anti-cholesterol statin medications.

All bought to you because of the “Bloomberg Trick”… scientists going into the data and stopping once they find any weak correlation that supports their hypothesis.

Thanks Tony, for exposing all of this…
