One year ago I did not know anything about Uttar Pradesh. Ten months ago I acquired all the components of the Uttar Pradesh Covid positive “take home” pack. Two required a prescription, which I had filled at my local large chain store’s in-house pharmacy. One component was being used successfully at the time in Third World countries to fight Covid, but vilified in the US. Asked the pharmacist who handed it to me (co-incidentally from India) if he was dispensing much of it at his store. “Quite a bit,” was his response. Probably not the situation currently, which I view as shameful. Others may even describe it as criminal.

Seems like we have more to fear from the vaxed, who are running around symptom-free and thus more readily spreading the virus, than we do from the unvaxed, who recognize their illness and stay home, preventing further spread. But maybe that’s the plan.
