Here is a video from EcoHealth Alliance saying nobody knew about the CCP virus before late 2019.

In 2017 under Trump, HHS adopted a funding mechanism for studying Gain of Function research.

“Gain-of-function studies may entail biosafety and biosecurity risks”

The Obama administration had previously placed a pause on funding bat virus Gain of Function research.

“Specifically, the funding pause will apply to gain-of-function research projects that may be reasonably anticipated to confer attributes to influenza, MERS, or SARS viruses such that the virus would have enhanced pathogenicity and/or transmissibility in mammals via the respiratory route.”

oh my, so many people I would like to see in jail on the back of this scam.

The worst thing imaginable was reading parents not allowed to see their terminally ill children. That brings tears to my eyes. The hatred I have for these people who allowed this to happen.

  2. arn says:

Those from Event 201 definitivly knew.

And it seems these people have a certain faible for Alan Moore whose Comics
are about installing a world government by using a fake global threat (Watchman )
or a fascist dictatorship that uses faer campaigns and lockdown to “protect” its population from a virus( V for Vendetta).

  3. Eli the Pit Bull says:

Trump was gullible. He is not a scientist and surrounded himself with the wrong people.
His biggest mistake was not cleaning house and going after Fauci and GOF research in China
    Makes you wonder

    • GreyGeek says:

      Doesn’t make me wonder.
Trump is not and was not the savior of Conservatives. The media focused on him during his campaign in order to eliminate more viable candidates, of which there were several. However, he was not supposed to win. The Marxist and their Deep State allies miscalculated Hillary’s strength and gained no clues from the extremely low and sometimes even nonexistent turnout to her campaign rallies. The media ate its own dog food and believed that Hillary would blow out Trump. After he was elected Trump, a former Democrat, reverted to his original party thinking and appointed people who would have fit in a Democrat White House better than a Conservative one.
If Trump could see the mail-in ballot rouse he did nothing to stop it and may have killed his own chance at a re-election. His current stance on the experimental vaccines speaks volumes about his ability to research and understand information outside of his specialty, hotel construction projects.
It’s time Conservatives seek another candidate and began promoting him or her. There are plenty available who would do better than Trump in fighting the slide into Marxism this county is going through.

      • Conrad Ziefle says:

I mainly disagree. Trump was hammered because he was not part of the cabal and he was too rich to bribe. The fact that they didn’t bring out a lot of trash on him, means that there wasn’t a lot there. They had to go to an illegal taping of him through a long distance microphone to get “*ussy grab” thing. I think Trump is autistic, or something. He definitely struggles with language. That hurts as a politician because the first requirement of a politician is to BS with charisma. He is a 1000-foot manager and mainly a big idea guy. He knew how to get the economy going, and did. That is everything. He supported the American worker, of all races, over the foreign invader, and he supported the military. To the deep state Marxists, he was a threat, and they had to take him out through an illegally manipulated election. If he had been around for another term, he might have gained the upper hand on them, and they knew it. I don’t care if he was a closet liberal or conservative. He was for us, and that is all I care about.
That said, the gain of function thing was a terrible mistake. You have to give Obama credit for putting it down. I don’t know what Trump did, but the gain of function BS was moved offshore by Fauci, despite Obama being against it. A bigger wonder is why is this stuff about Saint Obama and Demonic Trump coming out just before an election which the Democrats are sure to lose? If gain of function can be tied to Trump ,it would give the Democrats a chance. They live by stirring emotions before the election enough for people to forget about the daily misery that they have been perpetuating.
It’s what Marxists do; get you focused on a pimple on your ear while they run a knife through your gut.

        • GreyGeek says:

          You make some good points.
All of the Dems and media complaints about Trump were manufactured, some illegally, not true, and Trump never received credit for his actions to restore America because the Dem’s objective is to destroy America and replace it with a Marxist command and control structure.
Trump was not and is not a great orator, but he speaks the people’s language, and he has America’s best interests at heart. That said, if Trump were to run again and win it would make him the oldest president to hold the office. I noticed a decline in cognitive function over Trump’s four years in office. I speak from experience, I’m over 80, when I say that most people decline in mental ability and that decline accelerates when aging past 70. There are exceptions, Tony is probably one, and a good friend of my wife is 101 and her mind is still as sharp as a razor, but Trump is not an exception. In my opinion, if he wins a second term, he will be less able to predict and respond to Marxist maneuvers than he was in his first term. The LAST person Conservatives need to elect is another Republican RHINO, of which Lindsay Graham is a poster boy. It is hard to elect Conservatives today. Many run under the Conservative banner, knowing what Conservatives want to hear, but when elected immediately shift to the Left or FAR Left of center. We’ve seen this with nominees for SCOTUS.

What people fail to realize is that the Marxist have played the long game. They began their “long march” in the late 40s by working their way into low and middle level management in a variety of businesses and NPOs and by the 60s reached levels where they could hire full-fledged Marxists at all levels beneath them. The most critical institutions they infiltrated were the media, Federal Agencies and our military. Obama did a number on our military by replacing 3,000+ middle and upper level officers with Marxist, and one now leads the Pentagon. Federal bureaucrats cannot be fired easily, and now the alphabet agencies are fully populated with folks who are willing and able to call their Chinese counterparts and warn them of any moves that America could make that would be detrimental to Chinese interests. The next Conservative president will have no other choice except to remove most Federal cabinet level agencies and depopulate most of the rest. The EPA, FBI, ATF, NSA, CIA and several others. The mission would be refocused on serving the American people, not ruling over them, and their authorization would not include targeting Americans.
But, I’m just day-dreaming. None of this will ever happen. Between now and November, if the mail-in ballot fiasco cannot be brought under control Conservatives will never win another national election and our Republic is doomed.

          • Conrad Ziefle says:

You also made good points. The thing I don’t get is how Marxists can continue marching in the Marxist crusade when every Marxist regime has turned out to be a total economic and humanitarian mess. Religion is a funny thing. It can hypnotize the True Believer into ignoring reality and blindly accepting a fantasy. Those, the few, who do wake up generally are the most adamant against their old Marxist heroes. Yeah, I’m for DeSantis. I think he is our best bet. He seems to be the real deal. He is a lot better at the rhetoric, than Trump, and as yet, has not been totally destroyed by Pravda USA. I sure hope he is the real deal, because we need to hit the ground running.

          • Chuck Hortler says:

Some really great 1930’s and 1940’s vintage die hard Marxist/Socialists who were turned away from Marxism and Socialism when they woke up to utter madness going on in the utopian experiment of 1920s Russia. Socialism of the 1920s saw the Socialist uprising in Russia as the settled science of that era… so much so that the three Western authors listed below emigrated to Soviet Russia (by the time they went, it was in Soviet hands) to live the utopia and preach the Socialist Gospel to the West. What they found turned their worlds upside down:

Assignment in Utopia by Eugene Lyons
            Red Decade by Lyons

A short summary of Lyons history and writings can be found here: https://www.city-journal.org/eugene-lyons-the-red-decade

Collectivism: A False Utopia by William H Chamberlain (less convinced of Chamberlain’s full deconversion from Socialism but he makes the point that Fascism and Socialism of the mid-20th century were two faces of the same coin).

Malcom Muggeridge also published intense counterpoints to his former Socialist Marxist thinking but his stuff of that vintage is a bit harder to find.

        • Laurie says:

I don’t blame the former president for what he could not have known, nor for trusting people he ought not to have.

What I blame the former president for is putting his ego before his duty.

Donald Trump is not the worst candidate – but he was not sufficient to the task.

      • jb says:

According to the timelines I have seen,
it was Barky Obama that re-authorized the Fauch and GOF approximately 1 week b4 he left office —in Jan 2017

  4. Disillusioned says:

    Good catch!

  5. Peter Carroll says:

You reckon that’s bad? The worst use of a bat has to be the English Ashes team in Australia.

  6. gregole says:

Reading Matt Ridley’s book right now, “Viral, the Search for the Origin of Covid-19” and I’m trying to read it quickly because all the careful research and background he develops is being trumped by the latest news that Covid almost certainly was manufactured in a lab in Wuhan with US Gvt backing and support. Gain of Function research is going on unchecked.

    • Allan Shelton says:

I used to like Matt Ridley until I realized that he believed the GHG Theory.
      He is a luke warmist,
I do not believe the GHG Theory, therefore I gave up on Matt.
He is a fine writer, but cannot see the fallacy of AGW. IMO

  7. jb says:

    I could be wrong but….
it was Obama that re-funded the gain-of-function 1 week before leaving office in January 2017.

  8. Rick Janes says:

Fauci is to public health what Soros-backed DAs are to crime.

  9. Laurie says:

I’m sorry – truly I am, but the lab leak theory was *always* the most plausible answer, and for those who desire facts above fancy, time has eroded any modicum of doubt.
