In 2008 Daily Kos announced that the Wilkins Ice Shelf in Antarctica was about to disappear and that the Arctic would be ice-free by 2012.

ESA – Wilkins Ice Shelf hanging by its last thread
Based on Google Earth imagery it appears that the Wilkins Ice Shelf is still there and may be larger than it was in 2008.
Arctic ice is still there and hasn’t declined since those predictions were made.

Climate alarmists will ignore their past failures and turn their attention back to Antarctica and claim that sea ice is the lowest on record.

Antarctic sea ice extent is about the same as it was in January 1976.
