The Climate Emergency

The minstrel boy to the war is gone,
In the ranks of death ye may find him
His father’s sword he hath girded on,
With his wild harp slung along behind him;
Land of Song, the lays of the warrior bard,
May some day sound for thee,
But his harp belongs to the brave and free
And shall never sound in slavery!

    Listening to an audio book when driving. ‘In Freedoms Cause’ by George Alfred Henry.

    The story of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce during the Scottish revolution.

    I hear that now the Canadian truckers have shut down the Blue Water bridge crossing between Port Huron and Sarnia. The movement up there becomes more general everyday.

    Henty not Henry. Darn spell check.

  3. Great that you should post an old and well loved Irish song about the Minstrel Boy who fought for freedom. Sadly modern Irish patriots are as thin on the ground as are Irish global warming realists,

    In every video of Kyrie, we see her walking away from you, out into the snow covered hills with the dogs, leaving you behind, just getting away from you, but never do you run after her. By now she must be half way to Canada. At least you stay in camera range, just in case she changes her mind and allows you to catch up. I just worry about what blizzards lie ahead.

    Great video. It seems the pronghorn and muley populations have been doing very well here in eastern NM in recent years. A video I saw about a week ago showed several hundred pronghorn crossing the highway – I assume in Wyoming. Must be another benefit of ‘climate change’ – ha.
