Ten months ago Zelensky asked to join NATO, an organization of countries where small business owners were being forced out of business by their own governments. Russia made it clear that this would lead to war. Russia was invaded by twice by Europeans last century at a cost of tens of millions of lives. After WWII Russia made a decision to not allow hostile military on their border, just as the US made that same decision about Russian nuclear weapons in Cuba during the 1960s.

My first wife was an ethnic Russian who grew up in Latvia and faced discrimination and hatred every day of her childhood in Latvia. Ethnic hatred, prejudice, violence and division are at the core of European culture, and always has been.
The western press is trying to make this war out to be good vs. evil – the same narrative they use for Trump, Republicans, white men, climate, masks, vaccines, lockdowns and everything else.
