The ocean has been a lot higher in the past and a lot lower. Don’t fight it. Surf it.

    That’s a real shame.

I checked out the Maldives on Google Street View, and photos show that they have tons of new housing and resort homes going up. Pic I see was taken in 2020 and shows at least a dozen high-rises under construction with another 10 completed. It’s a shame they’ll all be uninhabitable in less than 28 years.,73.5483988,3a,75y,294.29h,85.14t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipNRZXLW5q7qnwkwjqFZv7frgqjaKDihqYgXf65M!2e10!3e11!!7i7070!8i3535

  5. I amazes me how selective sea level rise apparently is. I should expect the beaches near me in the South of England to disappear if the Maldives were to be submerged, yet over the past twenty years there has been no noticeable change. Perhaps there’s a slope in the ocean somewhere where alarmists go water skiing?
