  1. Most interesting – and something that is similar in the UK – but it is utterly alarming nevertheless that so many in Harvard and in academic institutions here in Europe seem quite unable properly to recognise reality and need.

The convenient thing once such numbers are reached is
that there is no longer a need for the billionaires club to have Epstein Island or Puff Daddy film studios.

Then companies, climate,MSM, polling agencies only need to hire from Harvard etc. and these people will blindly follow any Agenda and do any manipulation they are told – there is even no longer a need for a negative selection process as all potential employees are negative – an army of Bidens and Kamalas.

    Very Liberal is “Liberal”.
    Fascist tyrant is “Very Liberal”.

  4. Notice the sample : of those surveyed. What was the selection criterion? Why weren’t all faculty members surveyed? The sample with the built-in bias is Chapter One of Darell Huff’s ‘how to lie with statistics, so we must recognize this as a pretty basic propaganda ploy. I’ll bet the faculty members of a conservative disposition would have told them to shove their survey up where the sun don’t shine, so that only those who were not offended by the ridiculous questions would have responded.

They need to have a discussion about the terminology. I think that maybe they are conflating the terms liberal and radical Marxist.

    • arn says:

I don’t think so as there is no real difference between a liberal and a Marxist.

The liberals you are talking about only exist on paper -just like Marxist utopia.
If they’d exist in reality they’d be a major front in fighting Marxism/Wokeism.
Though the liberal you are talking about indeed exists; but their number is >2.
I know because he used to post here a few years ago using the name Gator.

If you go back to Malcolm X ;he told us 60 years ago that the biggest threat to America and black people is – the liberal .
So the classic liberal actually never existed as those were the classic liberals
      X was talking about.
And McCarthy said pretty much the same about communism around the same time.
And the only relevant article by the NYT released in recent years is titled :
How Liberal Hypocrisy is fueling inequality.
Talking about wealthy liberal communities etc and how they do there the exact opposite of what they say.
And those Harvard dudes end up in such communities.

Liberals are the Marxists of capitalist countries
and the difference is that Marxist are more hoenest and therefore less dangerous.

      • arn says:

        talking about liberals.

Look at what the most equal Harvard educated of them are doing in Chicago.
Those who want to defund the police.
Those who told the journalists they own to call burning cities
        mostly peaceful protests.
They fence everything – 3 miles away(that”s how close Kamala and the DNC is with people).
My guess is they are scared of a missile strike and need a buffer zone:)

No surprise. my three daughters all voted for Trump in 2016. then they went to college and all three voted for Biden in 2020. their boyfriends didn’t help but two of those guys are now gone. now it’s 2024 and my daughters have moved a little bit toward the center. they don’t follow politics much but they’re not fans of biden anymore. not sure how they feel about Harris. it’s just best not discussed. update on the good sailboat Lumi which is attempting to cross the Northwest passage. still parked due to ice blocking their way.

    • conrad ziefle says:

Can you, or have you been able to talk to them about what happened in college to make them think that voting for Biden made more sense than voting for Trump? Trump had a disaster at the end of his presidency; he listened to Fauci. We were tossed into a police state, the economy crated, riots and mass hysteria about blacks, Native Americans being denied everything in life-even while they are in the same schools and classes as the gullible white kids, COVID was hyped as the bubonic plague, deaths were over attributed to it. I could see where young people with limited political “History” would be easily led to believe that Thief Biden would be better.
But when you see how the Deep State and their stalking horse, the Democratic Party has hounded Trump legally and in the media, even tried to assassinate him, I think you would have to vote for him, if nothing else to stem the rise of the fascist police state that Harris promises: Steal their patents, rioters should continue to disrupt society, tax assets, and a bunch more mindless economy and society destroying ideas she has had.
This is why I preferred DeSantis to Trump, but we have Trump, and he surely is better than Harris.
Any chance of talking to them and maybe even swaying one or two?

  7. Caleb Shaw says:

My father was a surgeon who attended Harvard Medical School and also taught there, and my stepfather taught at Harvard Law School after working in Washington DC for Harry Truman, and my eldest brother attended Harvard as a physicist. They each were brilliant, and would be appalled by the dullards now in control. How can light be replaced by shadow?

Some day, God willing, I hope to describe my view of the downfall. But it is a story often seen in history. Those who have great gifts lose it all because they chose to be cheap. They turn to the shadows, and then wonder why things become dark.

The Light moves on to other places. Over and over history shows us the most unlikely backwaters becoming World Powers. Spain didn’t even exist in 1475, but by 1575 the Pope had decreed it should control half the world. At that time England was a island off in the periphery of Europe, and Spain was trying to control it with a royal marriage, but England became an empire the sun never set upon, which had thirteen little colones on its fringe. The Light moves were the Light chooses.

If Harvard chooses shadow, the Light moves on and has the power to manifest elsewhere, perhaps even here at this website. In a way, Tony, I see more of how Harvard once was here than Harvard can now claim to retain.

But I personally am crying out to the Light for help, because the lunatics don’t want to just run the asylum; they want to rule (and ruin) the entire planet!

I’m getting grouchy in my old age, I suppose. But I expected better from my fellow man than we are witnessing. (You might enjoy my latest post.)

I have three (and long story almost 4) degrees from Harvard. summa undergrad, then cum laude Law plus Baker scholar Business from joint JD/MBA program. The survey is biased—the faculty is much worse than represented here.
They hired Naomi Oreskes as a full tenured professor in history of science, then gave her an adjunct professorship in environmental science about which she knows nothing—but professes a lot.

    • Russell Cook says:

As I say at my GelbspanFiles blog, she’s THAT Naomi Oreskes ( http://gelbspanfiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Oreskes-ammo-pile.jpg ). Earlier this year when the news came out that a major donor to Harvard was threatening to pull his support over the school’s apparent indifference concerning anti-Semitic ‘free speech,’ I sent an email to the donor’s philanthropy organization suggesting consideration of also pulling his funding because of Naomi Oreskes all but earning the label “the queen of disinformation,” from the way which not one bit of her narratives about skeptic “liars-for-hire” scientists lines up right. Worth a shot, one never knows if that kind of alert makes it through or not ….

  9. Bob G says:

I’m watching slow Joe give his speech in Chicago. is anybody ever going to tell that idiot that he keeps repeating a hoax lie concerning Charlottesville? I really think he doesn’t know. and to think he’s our president for another 5 months

  10. conrad ziefle says:

When Kamala dips in the polls and I don’t see how she can’t, other than hiding in the basement and keeping her mouth shut while the CCP hackers manipulate the voting machines, then they will throw Biden out of the White House and give Val Gal Pam 30 days of acting president, where she will blow a lot of hot air and convince the dummies that she is the second coming of Obama (how great the first coming was, right? They all forgot).
I hope that somewhere there is a group of counter hackers who will block the voting machine hackers at every turn, at least in the swing states.

    • arn says:

I do not think that there is any outside access to voting machines
for the same reason why there can not be a russian collusion.

Those who created them made sure that they are the only ones who can manipulate them , just as they made sure that noone can collude with the elections – except for wall street.

And Kamala – Kamala has alienated a significant part of her userbase from day one,
as the first thing she did after Biden was couped out was a tranny campaign video.
(the former > 0.1% fringe that has now become the center of the universe and olympics(just a coincidence) since Biden was forced to introduce them).

This has pissed of the muslim and religious latino voter base.
      And those won’t come back.

But despite losing millions of votes throughout the 4 years
      on all levels
they will always get the votes to rule just as climate,no matter how much cooler it gets, will officially end up as warming.

      81mio votes – 12 mio votes = 81 mio votes

  11. conrad ziefle says:

Odd. I was just able to go to it.
