The Platte River Power Authority supplies northern Colorado, including Fort Collins, with their electricity. They are currently getting no energy from wind and solar, but say they will be “100% noncarbon” by 2030.

The only way to go from 0% to 100% by 2030 is to deliver ONLY kWh sustainably generated. Thus, Platte River Valley households, schools, hospitals, businesses, government offices … MUST prepare for repeated and prolonged blackouts, brownouts, power surges …
Wonder how long before watermelons BAN running backup generators installed by households, schools …?
My thoughts exactly. The only reliable generators are fossil fueled – gotta ban those! They want to take us back to the days of Fred and Wilma Flintstone, Barney, Betty, Pebbles and Bam Bam.
