    What a load of claptrap. I don’t think the Muslim world, especially the Arabs, need a pep talk from Americans regarding their contributions to science, math and engineering. After all, if it weren’t for the Arabs, we’d probably still be using abacuses (because they gave us the numerals we still use to this day to do science, math and engineering). Also, fun fact, most of the named stars in the night sky were given to them by the Arabs. I know that there is more to the Muslim world than Arabia, but those are the easy examples I can think of off the top of my head.

    Screw NASA and their claptrap.

      The arab numerals are actually hindhu.
      They just modified the symbols.

      And it is probably no coincidence that their discoveries occured after
      invading India,and that islams biggest genius Chwarizmi was fluent in Sanskrit
      and was more likely a compiler(of what was not destroyed by muslim invaders) than a pioneer;
      be it the introduction of 0 or his astronomical “knowledge”
