The frequency of 90 degree days in the US is plummeting, and this year has had the second fewest on record. The only year with fewer 90 degree readings in the US was 1992, which was cooled by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. The three coolest summers all occurred above 350 PPM CO2

You’re right Al. I don’t expect the alarmists to come forward to admit they were wrong. I don’t even think the “Luke-Warmists” will do that. These folks got so wrapped up in the emotionalism, they can no longer reason. Their “argument” is reduced to babbling.
A definite downtrend since the 1930’s. Global warming has been so ridiculously overblown that it is scary. The US Government is trying desperately to promote a scam that, if unchecked, would destroy the economy and our entire way of life. If the sheeple knew the truth, the Democrats would be out of power for a long, long time.

If certain scientists are correct we are looking at a return to Little Ice Age conditions. If others are correct, it could be worse – the end of the Holocene.

We have the technology to prevent millions of deaths. Nuclear power plants to provide energy, desalinization plants to provide water, (Colder is normally drier.) and various intense agricultural methods. Yet the US government instead of doing what is right for the country moved to abolish the US strategic grain reserve leaving not only the USA but the entire world vulnerable to a really bad growing season. (Think of one of Iceland’s big volcanoes exploding into the stratosphere.)
The fact is that the US government (and the UN) is WILLFULLY and with MALICE ignoring the real science in favor of politically advantageous propaganda. They are listening to the financial traders and international corporations that could care less if some of the ‘Great Unwashed’ (their term) die.
The complete disregard for human life, if it means more $$$$ is quite obvious in the 2008 food shortage resulting in riots in 60 countries.

August here is 1/2 the 90F days versus average. Sept. is starting with three in a row forecast then back to the 80s. My softball league canceled opening day due to cold and now it looks like the Fall league may end early, but that remains to be seen. The leaves are now beginning to turn a full month early and the ground bees and Yellow Jackets have broken the nests early. They know something.
This after a winter that killed the well established English Ivy that had been creeping up the side of my largest Chinese elm. And that stuff is damned hardy.
This graph represents trends in US Weather patterns not Climate. It is very well documented that some places on the planet will experience colder than normal temperatures as a result of climate change while other regions will experience warmer than normal. Same is true for wet and dry conditions. The key word is CHANGE. It is why the terminology of global warming was dropped because it confused the public. Climate change is a more accurate description of what is happening as a result of rising CO2 levels in the atmosphere. This graph fully supports the basic premise that global changes in climate are disrupting normal weather patterns on the local level. So thanks Steve for your support for this important phenomenon!
